Claims
- 1. A mixing cell comprising:
- (a) a body defining a chamber having a means for introduction of solution to said chamber and a means for exciting of solution from said chamber where introduction of said solution takes place in the chamber at a lower level than exit of said solution;
- (b) a sensing means positioned to be in contact with said solution in said chamber;
- (c) a modified Spinfin.TM. type stirrer positioned in said chamber, said stirrer modified by removal of top fins and addition of side slots.
- 2. The mixing cell of claim 1 wherein said chamber narrows near the solution exit region to facilitate the removal of bubbles.
- 3. The mixing cell of claim 1 wherein said chamber has a fixed volume.
- 4. The mixing cell of claim 1 wherein said sensing means is a potentiometric electrode.
- 5. The mixing cell of claim 1 wherein said sensing means is an amperometric electrode.
