These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is an exploded view of an embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 3 is a rear perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention; and

FIG. 4 is a section detail view of the present invention taken along line 4-4 in FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 through 4, the present invention includes a wearable decorative device. The wearable decorative device includes an apparel 10 configured to be worn on a body of a user. A first member 14 of a hook and loop fastener is fastened to an outer surface of the apparel 10. The present invention further includes a hair accessory 18. The hair accessory 18 includes a front surface opposite a rear surface. The front surface includes a first decoration. A second member 16 of the hook and loop fastener is fastened to the rear surface of the hair accessory 18. The second member 16 is releasably attached to the first member 14. A hair clip 12 is fastened to the rear surface of the hair accessory.

As mentioned above, the hair clip 12 and the second member 16 of the hook and loop fastener are fastened to the hair accessory 18. The term fastened means it is attached to the hair clip 12 and not easily removed without potentially damaging the hair accessory 18. For example, the hair clip 12 and the second member 16 may be stitched to the hair accessory 18 by a stitching. Alternatively, the hair clip 12 and the second member 16 may be adhered to the hair accessory 18 by a strong glue. Further, the first member 14 of the hook and loop fastener is fastened to the apparel 10. Again, the term fastened means it is attached to the apparel 10 and not easily removed without potentially damaging the apparel 10. For example, the first member 14 may be stitched to the apparel 10 by a stitching, or adhered to the apparel 10 by a strong glue.

The first member 14 of the hook and loop fastener may be a hook patch fastened to the apparel 10. The second member 16 of the hook and loop fastener may be a loop patch fastened to the hair accessory. Alternatively, the first member 14 of the hook and loop fastener may be a loop patch fastened to the apparel 10. The second member 16 of the hook and loop fastener may be a hook patch fastened to the hair accessory.

The apparel 10 of the present invention may be any apparel 10 that may be worn by a user. For example, the apparel 10 may include pants, a jacket, a hat, a shirt, a sweatshirt, gloves, foot apparel, such as shoes, boots and the like. For exemplary purposes, the apparel 10 of the present invention is illustrated as a shirt in FIG. 1.

The hair clip 12 may include a structure that is operable to secure the hair accessory 18 to a user's hair. For example, the hair clip 12 may include stretchable hair bands or hair clamps. As illustrated in the Figures, the hair clip 14 may be a hair clamp with a first arm pivotally secured to a second arm. The first arm and the second arm may be biased or secured together. Therefore, when a user separates the first and second arms, hair may be placed in between and the first and second arms. The first and second arms may bias back together, thereby securing the hair accessory 18 within the hair of the user.

As mentioned above, the hair accessory 18 includes a decoration on the front surface. In certain embodiments, the decoration may correspond with a decoration 20 formed on the outer surface of the apparel. As illustrated in the drawings, the decoration 20 on the apparel 10 (shirt) is an ice cream cone. The decoration of the hair accessory 18 may resemble ice cream. The first member 14 is fastened over the decoration 20. Therefore, the hair accessory 18 may be placed over the ice cream cone decoration 20 and add to the decoration on the apparel 10.

The present invention further includes a method of accessorizing. The method of accessorizing includes the following steps: wearing the shirt described above with the hair accessory described above releasably attached to the shirt; removing the hair accessory from the shirt; and attaching the hair accessory to hair. As mentioned above, the hair accessory includes a hair clip. Therefore, the step of attaching the hair accessory to the hair may include attaching the hair clip to the hair. As mentioned above, the hair accessory may include a first decoration that corresponds with a second decoration formed on the outer surface of the shirt.

It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
