The disclosure and prior art relates to garment devices and more particularly pertains to a new garment device for facilitating a user to carry a plurality of objects in a hands free manner.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising an apron that is worn on a torso of a user, and the apron has a neck strap and a pair of waist straps. A plurality of retainers is each coupled to the apron and each of the retainers is manipulated to releasably engage a conductor on a pair of earphones. In this way the retainers inhibit the conductor from becoming tangled. A pouch is coupled to the apron and the pouch is collapsible into a stored position having the pouch lying against the apron. The pouch is selectively pulled away from the apron into a deployed position thereby facilitating the pouch to carry a plurality of objects. In this way the pouch enhances the user's ability to carry a plurality of objects.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new garment device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the apron garment assembly 10 generally comprises an apron 12 is worn on a torso of a user. The apron 12 has a front surface 14, a first lateral edge 16, a neck strap 18 and a pair of waist straps 20. The waist straps 20 are matable to each other to form a closed loop around the user's waist. A neck strap fastener 22 is coupled to the apron 12. The neck strap 18 releasably engages the neck strap fastener 22 thereby facilitating the neck strap 18 to form a closed loop around the user's neck. Additionally, the neck strap fastener 22 may comprise a D-ring to which the neck strap 18 can be looped through.

A plurality of retainers 24 is each coupled to the apron 12 and the retainers 24 are positioned on the first lateral edge 16. Moreover, the retainers 24 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed between a respective one of the waist straps 20 and the neck strap fastener 22. Each of the retainers 24 is manipulated to releasably engage a conductor 26 on a pair of earphones. In this way the retainers 24 inhibit the conductor 26 from becoming tangled. Each of the retainers 24 may comprise a strap with an associated hook and loop fastener or other type of releasable retainer.

A pouch 28 is coupled to the apron 12 and the pouch 28 is collapsible into a stored position having the pouch 28 lying against the apron 12. The pouch 28 can be selectively pulled away from the apron 12 into a deployed position thereby facilitating the pouch 28 to carry a plurality of objects. In this way the pouch 28 enhances the user's ability to carry a plurality of objects while the user is wearing the apron 12. The pouch 28 has a front wall 30 and an outer wall 32 extending between the front wall 30 and the front surface 14 of the apron 12, and each of the front wall 30 and the outer wall 32 has an upper edge 34. Additionally, the outer wall 32 has a first lateral side 36, a second lateral side 38 and a bottom side 39. The front wall 30 lies against the front surface 14 of the apron 12 and each of the first 36 and second 38 lateral sides and the bottom side 39 being collapsed against the apron 12 when the pouch 28 is collapsed into the stored position. Alternatively, the front wall 30 is spaced from the front surface 14 such that the upper edge 34 of the front wall 30 and the outer wall 32 defines an opening 40 into the pouch 28 when the pouch 28 is in the deployed position.

A pair of fasteners 42 is each coupled to the front surface 14 of the apron 12, and each of the fasteners 42 is positioned above the pouch 28. A pair of engagements 44 is coupled to the bottom side 39 of the pouch 28. Each of the fasteners 42 releasably engages a respective one of the engagements 44 when the pouch 28 is positioned in the collapsed position for retaining the pouch 28 in the collapsed position. Each of the fasteners 42 may be a clip or other mechanical fastener and each of the engagements 44 may be a hook or the like.

A pair of first magnets 46 is provided and each of the first magnets 46 is coupled to the first lateral side 36 of the outer wall 32 of the pouch 28. The first magnets 46 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed between the front surface 14 of the apron 12 and the front wall 30 of the pouch 28. The first magnets 46 magnetically engage each other when the pouch 28 is collapsed into the stored position. Each of the first magnets 46 is spaced downwardly from the upper edge 34 of the outer wall 32 of the pouch 28.

A pair of second magnets 48 is each coupled to the second lateral side 38 of the outer wall 32 of the pouch 28. The second magnets 48 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed between the front surface 14 of the apron 12 and the front wall 30 of the pouch 28. The second magnets 48 magnetically engage each other when the pouch 28 is collapsed into the stored position. Each of the second magnets 48 is spaced downwardly from the upper edge 34 of the outer wall 32 of the pouch 28.

A plurality of storage pockets 50 is provided and each of the storage pockets 50 is coupled to the apron 12 for storing objects. The plurality of storage pockets 50 includes a power source pouch 52 and an electronic device pouch 53. The power source pouch 52 has a storage capacity large enough to contain a portable usb charger 54. Additionally, the electronic device pouch 53 has a storage capacity large enough to contain a smart phone 56 or the like. The power source pouch 52 is positioned lower on the storage pockets 50 than the electronic device pouch 53. The conductor 26 for the earphones can be plugged into the smart phone 56 and the smart phone 56 can be electrically coupled to the portable usb charger 54.

In use, the apron 12 is worn when the user is doing chores or the like. The front wall 30 of the pouch 28 is gripped and urged away from the apron 12 to position the pouch 28 in the deployed position. Thus, the plurality of objects can be positioned in the pouch 28 thereby facilitating the user to carry the objects while the apron 12 is being worn. Additionally, the conductor 26 for the earphones can be routed through each of the retainers 24 thereby keeping the conductor 26 from tangling. The smart phone 56 can be positioned in the electronic device pouch 53 of a selected one of the storage pockets 50 and the portable usb charger 54 can be positioned in the power source pouch 52 of the selected storage pocket 50. In this way the smart phone 56 can be charged while the earphones are plugged in to the smart phone 56.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
