Claims
- 1. An aromatic polycarbodiimide having a structural unit represented by the following formula (A) wherein R represents a divalent organic group represented by any one of following formula (1) (2), and (3) and n represents an integer; wherein X represents a fluorine atom or a hydrogen atom, wherein substituting positions of the 2 phenoxy groups bonding to the central benzene ring are 1,3-bonds or 1,4-bonds, wherein X represents a fluorine atom or a hydrogen atom.
- 2. The aromatic polycarbodiimide of claim 1, wherein n in the formula (A) is an integer of from 2 to 200.
- 3. A polycarbodiimide solution formed by dissolving the aromatic polycarbodiimide of claim 1 in an organic solvent.
- 4. A polycarbodiimide film formed by forming the aromatic polycarbodiimide of claim 1 into a film.
- 5. The polycarbodiimide film of claim 4, wherein said film is stretched in at least a monoaxial direction.
