Claims
- 1. In an improved process for curing cold-curable, ethylenically unsaturated resins containing a curing accelerator,
- the improvement comprises said curing accelerator being a compound of the formula ##STR9## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 represent hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 -aryl or halogen,
- R.sup.4 represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl,
- R.sup.5 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkylene, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkylene or C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 -arylene,
- R.sup.6 represents hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl and
- R.sup.7 represents hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 1-18 carbon atoms, a hydroxy-substituted saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, or the radical ##STR10## wherein R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are as defined above.
- 2. An uncured resin composition comprising a cold-curable, ethylenically unsaturated resin and a curing accelerator of the formula ##STR11## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 represent hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 -aryl or halogen,
- R.sup.4 represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl,
- R.sup.5 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkylene, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkylene or C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 -arylene,
- R.sup.6 represents hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl and
- R.sup.7 represents hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 1-18 carbon atoms, a hydroxy-substituted saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, or the radical ##STR12##
- 3. An uncured resin composition according to claim 2 wherein the resin is an unsaturated polyester resin.
- 4. An uncured resin composition according to claim 2 wherein the resin is an acrylic resin.
