Claims
- 1. A method of reducing the hemolytic activity of fibrous asbestos which is inhaled by humans or animals which comprises:
- employing as the asbestos source fibrous asbestos the surfaces of which are coated with an effective amount of cadmium oxide whereby the hemolytic activity of the asbestos which is inhaled by humans or animals is reduced.
- 2. A method of reducing the hemolytic activity of fibrous asbestos which is inhaled by humans or animals which comprises:
- employing as the asbestos source fibrous asbestos the surfaces of which are coated with an effective amount of chromium oxide or manganese peroxide whereby the hemolytic activity of the asbestos which is inhaled by humans or animals is reduced.
