Claims
- 1. A method of using a DNA sequence encoding 2,5-diketogluconic acid (2,5-DKG) reductase for effecting the conversion of 2,5-DKG into 2-keto-L-gulonic acid (2-KLG) which comprises expressing said DNA sequence in host cells transformed with an expression vehicle containing said DNA sequence and contacting a mixture comprising 2,5-DKG with 2,5-DKG reductase produced by said expression.
