Abstract
The present invention provides an assembled table carriage, including a vertical support and at least a grounding support. The grounding support is exposed transversely at the periphery of the vertical support, where a mating end and a protruding end are formed. An axial groove and axial rib are mated between the periphery of vertical support and the mating end of the grounding support, thus enabling the grounding support to be slid axially via the mated axial groove and axial rib and also positioned via a spacer. The shelving unit can be embedded into the vertical support for axial sliding, allowing to adjust the height of table with greater convenience and applicability.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a carriage structure, and more particularly to an innovative carriage that is an assembled structure for tables.

2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.

A table is generally supported by a carriage, under which several legs are arranged to support the table collaboratively in a balanced state. Moreover, the carriage is set at a fixed height, and the legs are fixed on the bottom of the carriage for a fixed height of table. However, there are shortcomings are observed during actual application.

For example, the table cannot be adjusted depending on the stature of the users, leading possibly to fatigue or ache of the users or inconvenience of operation.

Also, as the table legs are fixed onto the bottom of the carriage, the table cannot be erected uprightly and stably if any leg is damaged or broken, so the entire table has to be discarded, resulting in a waste of resources.

Furthermore, the table legs of the same dimension are fixed onto the bottom of the carriage, so the shapes of legs cannot be adjusted where necessary.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve efficacy.

Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

There is enhanced efficacy of the present invention.

The grounding supports are individually prefabricated with strong enough structural strength, so they can be axially shifted or removed/assembled independently of the vertical support, so as to meet the user demands where necessary.

An axial groove and axial rib are arranged around the vertical support, such that the shelving unit can be embedded into the vertical support for axial sliding, allowing to adjust the height of table with greater convenience and applicability.

As the grounding supports can be assembled and disassembled independently, a variety of grounding supports can be generated and selected to meet the diversified user demands.

There are improvements brought about by this invention.

In the case where the scale is set on the periphery of the vertical support, users can adjust the grounding supports to the same height in reference to the scale T, making it possible to adjust them more conveniently and accurately.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIGS. 1-5 depict preferred embodiments of an assembled table carriage of the present invention. The embodiments are provided for only explanatory purposes with respect to the patent claims.

Referring first to FIGS. 1-4, the carriage A comprises a vertical support 10 and at least a grounding support 20. The vertical support 10 is a hollow extruded tube, at bottom of which a hollow chassis 13 is screwed by bolts 14. Several grounding supports 20 can be separately assembled around the vertical support 10 in a radiative state. The grounding support 20 is exposed transversely at the periphery of the vertical support 10, where a mating end 21 and a protruding end 22 are formed. An axial groove 11 and axial rib 12 are mated between the periphery of vertical support 10 and the mating end 21 of the grounding support 20, thus enabling the grounding support 20 to be slid axially via the mated axial groove 11 and axial rib 12, and also positioned via a spacer 30.

The spacer 30 is composed of at least a clamping wedge 31 and a bolt 32. The mating end 21 of the grounding support 20 is provided with a chamber 211 for assembly of the clamping wedge 31. An oblique surface 311 is arranged between the clamping wedge 31 and the chamber 211. When the clamping wedge 31 is screwed by the bolt 32, the oblique surface 311 of the chamber 211 is supported by the oblique surface 311 of the clamping wedge 31, allowing the mating end of the grounding support 20 and the vertical support 10 to be positioned securely. An embedding portion can be arranged between the clamping wedge 31 and the periphery of the vertical support 10.

Based on above-specified structures, the present invention is operated as follows:

Referring to FIG. 5, the grounding supports 20 are individually prefabricated. When it is intended for adjusting the height of the grounding supports 20, users can adjust them to the same scale T set on the periphery of the vertical supports 10, thus making the table stable without any inclination.
