ATTACHMENT UNIT OF DRIVING SHAFT WITH TENSIONER NUT

Abstract
The invention relates to a system for attaching the end of a shaft (14) of a gas turbine engine engaged inside a coupling (15) supported by a bearing (3). Said system comprising a nut (16) is characterized in that the nut (16) comprises a first thread (16f1) by which it is screwed into said shaft (14) and a second thread (16f2) by which it is screwed to said coupling (15). Advantageously, the screw pitches of the two threads (16f1, 16f2) of the nut (16) are reversed relative to one another so as to form an adjusting nut.
Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The invention will now be described in greater detail, with reference to the appended drawings in which:

FIG. 1 represents, in axial section, a partial view of an installation solution corresponding to the teaching of the prior art;

FIG. 2 shows the elements of FIG. 1 pre-assembled and before the HP compressor shaft is installed;

FIG. 3 represents, in axial section, a partial view of a system for attaching the end of the HP compressor shaft according to the invention;

FIG. 4 shows the first step of the installation seen from the IGB side;

FIG. 5 shows the first step of the installation seen from the HP compressor shaft side;

FIG. 6 shows the second step with the docking of the compressor shaft;

FIG. 7 shows the engagement further forward of the compressor shaft;

FIG. 8 shows that the tightening of the adjusting nut on the coupling of the bearing is complete and that a nut-lock has been put in place.

Claims
  • 1. A system for attaching the end of the HP compressor shaft (14) of a double-bodied gas turbine engine engaged inside the coupling (154) supported by a bearing (3) of the bevel gear (15) for driving the transmission shaft of the accessories gearbox, said system comprising a nut (16) and wherein the nut (16) comprises a first thread (16f1) by which it is screwed into said shaft (14) comprising a thread (14f) and a second thread (16f2) by which it is screwed to said coupling (154) comprising a thread (15f).
  • 2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the screw pitches of the two threads (16f1, 16f2) of the nut (16) are reversed relative to one another.
  • 3. The system as claimed in one of the preceding claims, comprising a nut-lock (17).
  • 4. The system as claimed in one of the preceding claims, wherein the shaft (14) and the coupling (154) are guided into one another by axial splines (153, 143).
  • 5. The system as claimed in the preceding claim, wherein the bevel gear (15) comprises a means for clamping the bearing axially during the tightening of the nut.
  • 6. A method of mounting the HP compressor shaft of a double-bodied turbine engine in its bearing before including the heating of the bearing, the mounting of a nut of the system as claimed in one of the preceding claims on the shaft and then the tightening of the nut forming an adjusting nut.
  • 7. A turbine engine compressor incorporating a system of attaching the end of a rotor shaft as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6.
  • 8. A double-bodied turbine engine comprising an attachment system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6.
