CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority to Chinese Application No. 202210562840.1, filed on May 23, 2022, entitled “AUTOMATIC EDGE SHARPENER”. These contents are hereby incorporated by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to the field of machining, and in particular to an automatic edge sharpener.

BACKGROUND

At present, the commonly used edge sharpener is just a simple grinder for edge sharpening. First, a product is held and fixed by hand, and then the product is placed close to the grinder for edge sharpening. As a result, great vibration is caused to the human body during work, which is more likely to cause damage to the operator. Since it relies on manual operation, the width and angle of an edge sharpened are only visually observed by the operator, and the edge length and width of each product cannot be unified. In the case of sharpening a product with a wavy edge, the middle part is prone to adhesion. This requires an additional process of sawing and filing the edge. The depth of the wavy edge opened cannot be controlled steadily, the product quality cannot be guaranteed, and it is difficult to achieve customer satisfaction. Therefore, a technology is urgently desired to make up for this deficiency.

Supplementary description of the working principle of the present invention is as follows. First, different guide blocks 4 can be designed according to different shapes of workpieces, and the guide blocks 4 can be installed on the lower plate of the support frame 25 and fixed with bolts. Then, the power is turned on and the water pump 319 is started to deliver water to the grinding wheel 314 through the nozzle 321. The cycloidal pinwheel reducer 214 with a motor drives the reducer 213 to rotate, thereby driving the support frame 25 to rotate slowly. The fork pneumatic valves 211 control the air cylinders 29 to move. When the clamp 26 is in a closed state, the fork pneumatic valve 211 is toggled and then the clamp 26 is opened. A workpiece is placed in place, the fork pneumatic valve 211 is then toggled again, and the clamp 26 is closed to clamp the workpiece tightly for machining. When the workpiece is rotated to the position of the grinding wheel 314, the edge sharpening is performed. When the edge sharpening is finished, the fork pneumatic valve 211 is toggled again by the operator, the clamp 26 is then opened, the finished workpiece is removed, and another workpiece to be machined is mounted. The fork pneumatic valve 211 is then toggled, the clamp 26 is closed to clamp the workpiece tightly, and this process is repeated to sharpen the edge. If double-sided edge sharpening is required, the workpiece just needs to be symmetrically turned over to machine the other side. The grinder device of the present invention adopts three-layer support frame control, so that the grinding wheel can be adjusted frontward and backward, up and down. Due to the design of the guide wheel 317, in the process of edge sharpening, when the support frame 25 rotates, the guide wheel 317 comes into contact with the lower edge of the support frame 25, thereby changing the movement track of the grinding wheel and completing the required edge sharpening of the product. The connection between the guide wheel frame 318 and the guide wheel 317 is designed into a U-shaped structure, which is convenient for loading, unloading and replacement. The first support frame 36 and the second support frame 37 are provided with the springs 310 on two sides. When pushed out along the track, the guide wheel 317 drives the second support frame 37 to move backward, and the springs 310 play the role of pulling back.

The control method of the present invention is performed by manually turning on and off a switch. The wiring diagram of power components and the supply of the power belong to the common knowledge in the art. Moreover, the present invention is mainly provided for protecting the mechanical device, so the present invention will not explain the control method and wiring arrangement in detail.
