- second display means using a second display member for displaying an object moving state on the basis of the calculated change.
- 4. An automatic focusing apparatus comprising:
- a focusing device for repetitively detecting a defocus amount of a photographing lens;
- a moving object discriminating device for discriminating on the basis of present and previous defocus amounts whether or not an object is moving;
- a pursuit correction amount calculating device for calculating a pursuit correction amount for a moving object on the basis of the present and previous defocus amounts;
- a lens drive device for calculating a drive amount of said photographing lens on the basis of the present defocus amount when said moving object discriminating device discriminates that the object is not moving, and for calculating the drive amount of said photographing lens on the basis of a pursuit drive amount as a sum of the present defocus amount and the pursuit correction amount when said moving object discriminating device discriminates that the object is moving, so as to drive said photographing lens; and
- a first display device using a first display member for displaying a focusing state of said photographing lens on the basis of the present defocus amount or the present and previous defocus amounts; and
- a second display device using a second display member for displaying an object moving state on the basis of the discriminating result of said moving object discriminating device.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein when said moving object discriminating device discriminates that the object is not moving, a display is performed by only said first display device, and when said moving object discriminating device discriminates that the object is moving, a display is performed by only said second display device.
- 6. An automatic focusing apparatus comprising:
- a focusing device for repetitively detecting defocus of a photographing lens;
- a device for calculating a change in defocus caused by movement of an object on the basis of previous and present defocus;
- a first display device using a first display member for displaying a focusing state of said photographing lens on the basis of the present defocus; and
- a second display device using a second display member for displaying an object moving state on the basis of the calculated change.
- 7. An indicating apparatus for focus detection comprising:
- a focus detection circuit for repetitively detecting a focus adjustment state of an object image formed by a main optical system, and for sequentially generating focus detection signals in accordance with the detected focus adjustment state;
- an indicating device for indicating the focus adjustment state on the basis of the focus detection signals;
- a judgement circuit for judging whether an object is moving or not, on the basis of a plurality of the focus detection signals sequentially generated; and
- an indication control circuit for inhibiting the indication of the focus adjustment state by said indicating device, when said judgement circuit judges that the object is moving.
- 8. An indicating apparatus for focus detection comprising:
- a focus detection circuit for repetitively detecting a focus adjustment state of an object image formed by a main optical system, and for sequentially generating focus detection signals in accordance with the detected focus adjustment state;
- a first indicating device for indicating the focus adjustment state on the basis of the focus detection signals;
- a judgement circuit for judging whether an object is moving or not, on the basis of a plurality of the focus detection signals sequentially generated;
- a second indicating device for indicating that the object is moving; and
- an indication control circuit for allowing the indication of said first indicating device, when said judgement circuit judges that the object is not moving, and for inhibiting the indication of the focus adjustment state by the said first indicating device and for making the indication of said second indicating device that the object is moving, when said judgement circuit judges that the object is moving.
- 9. An indicating apparatus for focus detection according to claim 8, wherein said first and second indicating devices use the same indication element, and an indication mode of the focus adjustment state of said first indicating device is different from an indication mode of said second indicating device, indicating that the object is moving.
