The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2023-0116968, filed Sep. 4, 2023, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.
The present disclosure relates to a sofa and, in more detail, an automatic sofa that greatly improve convenience because the area of a seat on which a user sits automatically moves.
In general, a sofa, which is one of the pieces of furniture that is used for users to sit comfortably and relax, is composed of a sofa frame that usually forms a predetermined height from the floor and can provide a space, a sofa mattress that is disposed on the seat unit of the sofa frame and cushions a user sitting thereon, a back mattress that is installed on the sofa frame and supports the back of a user, and armrests that are installed on the sofa frame for a user to rest his/her arms.
A sofa mattress, a back mattress, and armrests form a seat through a coil spring or a sponge that can absorb shock and other elastic materials therein, and the outer surfaces thereof are covered with natural or synthetic leather and a fiber material.
Existing sofas configured in this way provides comfort when a user sits thereon by absorbing the weight of the user through the cushions in a soft mattress, a back mattress, and armrests.
Meanwhile, recliner sofas having a section supporting the legs of a user or a section supporting the head of a user have been introduced for convenience for users, but the technique of moving the area on which a user sits is insufficient, and there are many shortcomings in achieving structural stability for such technology, so improvements are required for this.
The above description is the background for helping understand the present disclosure and does not means the related art well known in the art.
Accordingly, an objective of the present disclosure is to provide an automatic sofa that greatly improves convenience and is structurally stable because the area of a seat on which a user sits automatically moves.
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there may be provided an automatic sofa that includes: a main body having a back support body; a seat actuator disposed on the main body; and a seat unit disposed on the main body and connected to the seat actuator to move, wherein the seat actuator comprises a driving motor disposed on the main body, a sliding body disposed on the main body to be connected to the driving motor and configured to slide forward/backward with respect to the main body, a seat coupling body connected with the sliding body to move with the sliding body and coupling the seat unit thereto, and a rotary unit coupled at a first side to the main body, coupled at a second side to the seat coupling body, and configured to guide movement of the seat coupling body.
The rotary unit may include: a link member coupled at a first side to the seat coupling body and configured to horizontally move with the seat coupling body; a rotary body coupled at a first side to the link member and configured to push a rear of the seat unit by rotating when the link member is moved; and a rotary arm coupled to a second side of the rotary body and configured to support the rotary body, and when the rotary body is rotated, the rotary arm may also be rotated in the same direction as a rotation direction of the rotary body.
The rotary unit may further include a coupler rotatably coupling the rotary arm to the main body.
The seat actuator may further include guide rails disposed on the main body and configured to guide slide movement of the sliding body.
The seat unit may include: a base seat coupled to the seat coupling body, configured to move with the seat coupling body, and provided as a part on which a user sits; base supports coupled to the base seat and configured to support the base seat; and roller members disposed at the base supports and configured to guide movement of the base supports.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, since the area of the seat on which a user sits automatically moves, it is possible to greatly improve convenience.
Further, since the seat unit is stably moved by the rotary unit of the seat actuator, it is possible to provide a structurally stable automatic sofa.
It is required to refer to the accompanying drawings exemplifying preferred embodiments of the present disclosure and the contents in the accompanying drawings to help sufficiently understand the present disclosure, the operational advantages of the present disclosure, and the objectives that are achieved by implementing the present disclosure.
The present disclosure will be described hereafter in detail by describing exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like reference numerals given in the drawings indicate like components.
As shown in the figures, an automatic sofa 1 according to the embodiment includes a main body 100 having a back support body 140, a seat actuator 200 disposed on the main body 100, and a seat unit 300 disposed on the main body 100 and connected to the seat actuator 200 to move.
The main body 100, which is a base structure of the present disclosure, as shown in
In the embodiment, the horizontal body 110 and the vertical body 120 may be made of one material selected from a wood material, a metal material, or plastic.
In the embodiment, the base frame body 130 may be made of one material selected from a wood material, a metal material, or plastic.
In the embodiment, as shown in
The seat actuator 200, as shown in
In the embodiment, the seat actuator 200 includes, as shown in
In the embodiment, when the driving motor 210 is operated, a screw shaft connected with the driving motor 210 is rotated and the sliding body 220 can be moved forward or backward with respect to the horizontal body 110 by the rotation force of the screw shaft.
In the embodiment, the seat coupling body 230 may be detachably bolted to the sliding body 220.
In the embodiment, the rotary unit 250, as shown in
Hereafter, operation of the rotary unit 250 is described.
When the driving motor 210 is operated and the sliding body 220 is moved to the position shown in
In this process, the link member 251 is horizontally moved forward, and as the link member 251 is moved forward, the rotary body 252 is rotated counterclockwise, as shown in
In the embodiment, the rotary arm 253 may have a substantially L-shape, as shown in
The seat unit 300, as shown in
As described above, according to the embodiment, since the area of the seat on which a user sits automatically moves, it is possible to greatly improve convenience. Further, since the seat unit is stably moved by the rotary unit of the seat actuator, it is possible to provide a structurally stable automatic sofa.
The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiment described above and it is apparent to those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be changed and modified in various ways without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure. Accordingly, it should be noted that such changes and modifications are included in claims of the present disclosure.
