Claims
- 1. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein said guide element includes a guide plate extending from a bottom of said case to said bottom of said cooling heat exchanger, and
- wherein said guide plate includes a plurality of guide plate portions.
- 2. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein said guide element includes a wavy member of which ridges direct said bottom of said cooling heat exchanger.
- 3. An air conditioner according to claim 2, wherein said wavy member includes a plurality of wavy portions.
- 4. An air conditioner according to claim 2, wherein said guide element is formed integrally with said case.
- 5. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein said cooling heat exchanger is disposed to gradually inclined relative to horizontal.
- 6. An air conditioner according to claim 5, wherein said drain is provided in said case at a downstream air side of said guide element.
- 7. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger;
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith, and
- a heating heat exchanger, disposed horizontally above the cooling heat exchanger, for heating the upwardly moving air passing through said cooling heat exchanger.
- 8. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein:
- said guide element has an air interruption member for interrupting air from flowing upward; and
- said guide element is disposed to introduce condensed water toward said drain of said case.
- 9. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein:
- said case and said cooling heat exchanger are disposed in such a manner that a distance between a bottom of said cooling heat exchanger and an inner bottom surface of said case is gradually changed from one side of said case toward the other side of said case; and
- said guide element has a plurality of guide plates extending from the inner bottom surface toward the bottom of said cooling heat exchanger to be substantially in contact with the bottom of said cooling heat exchanger.
- 10. An air conditioner according to claim 9, wherein the distance between the bottom of said cooling heat exchanger and the inner bottom surface of said case is gradually increased from the one side of said case toward the other side of said case.
- 11. An air conditioner according to claim 9, wherein said guide plates of said guide member are disposed in parallel from the one side of said case toward the other side of said case.
- 12. An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle, comprising:
- a blower for blowing air;
- a cooling heat exchanger receiving from its bottom side air which is moved by the blower in an upward direction through the cooling heat exchanger;
- a case for directing the air from said blower to said cooling heat exchanger, said case having a drain for draining condensed water at a position below an air flow end of the cooling heat exchanger; and
- a guide element located below said cooling heat exchanger, said guide element being in contact therewith,
- wherein said blower is disposed to be shifted from said cooling heat exchanger.
- 13. An air conditioner according to claim 12, wherein:
- said cooling heat exchanger is disposed at a center of an instrument panel of the vehicle in a width direction of the vehicle; and
- said blower is disposed to be shifted from said cooling heat exchanger in the width direction.
- 14. An air conditioner according to claim 5, wherein said case has a side wall, said guide element is disposed to form a space portion with said side wall of said case, and said drain is disposed at a position below said space portion.
- 15. An air conditioner according to claim 5, wherein said guide element includes a guide plate extending from a bottom of said case to said bottom of said cooling heat exchanger.
- 16. An air conditioner according to claim 15, wherein said guide element is formed integrally with said case.
