Claims
- 1. An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of about 0.1 to 5 mole % chloropentafluoroethane and about 95 to 99.9 mole % HCl wherein said composition has a boiling point that ranges from about -50.degree. C. at about 75 psia to about 25.degree. C. at about 690 psia.
- 2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the relative volatility is 1.0.
- 3. The composition of claims or 2 wherein the vapor pressure of the composition is greater than HCl or chloropentafluoroethane.

This is a division of application Ser. No. 08/298,256 filed Mar. 9, 1994, now abandoned, which is a continuation-in-part of Ser. No. 08/055,486, filed Apr. 30, 1993, now U.S. Pat. No. 5,421,964, in the names of Barry A. Mahler et al., and entitled "Process For Separating HCl and Halocarbons"; the entire disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference.
