BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Technical Field
The present invention relates generally to a backpack, and more particularly to a backpack having multiple connecting sites for shoulder straps.
Description of Related Art
Conventional backpacks are used for carrying things on a user's back, so the user doesn't have to carry things with hands. Thus, the user could keep a balance easier and walk faster, increasing a moving efficiency. For instance, hikers need to carry a lot of hiking equipment for safety's sake, but the hiking equipment is various and heavy. Therefore, how to pack the essential hiking equipment and clothes well becomes an important issue for a hiker.
To solve said issue, there are many pieces of information teaching better ways to pack a hiker's backpack so far. However, said ways could only make a backpack's center of gravity get closer to the waist of the hiker which is the fulcrum of a human body, but said ways couldn't adjust the backpack to the best carry position for hikers.
On the other hands, shoulder straps are attached to a body of a conventional backpack, only an adjusting buckle is provided for loosing or tightening the straps, but the distance between the backpack's center of gravity and the waist of the user couldn't be shortened. Thus, there is a need to improve the conventional backpack.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In view of the above, the primary objective of the present invention is to provide a backpack, wherein each of shoulder straps of the backpack is connected to different adjusting sites of a corresponding adjusting portion via a connector of the backpack in order to change a height of the shoulder straps and a position of the backpack's center of gravity. Thus, the user could adjust the backpack to the best carrying position.
The present invention provides a backpack including a body and two shoulder straps, wherein the body includes a rear surface, two connecting portions, and two adjusting portions. The two connecting portions and the two adjusting portions are disposed on the rear surface. Each of the adjusting portions includes a plurality of adjusting sites which are arranged vertically on the rear surface. When a user carries the backpack, the rear surface of the body faces a back of the user. The two shoulder straps are connected to the rear surface of the body, wherein a first end of each of the shoulder straps is connected to one of the two connecting portions, and a second end of each of the shoulder straps has a connector. Each of the connectors is correspondingly connected to one of the two adjusting portions, and is connected to one of the plurality of adjusting sites. When each of the connectors is connected to different one of the plurality of adjusting sites of one of the two adjusting portions, a height of each of the shoulder straps and a position of a center of gravity of the backpack are changed accordingly.
With the aforementioned design, through connecting the connectors and different adjusting sites of the corresponding adjusting portions, the height of the shoulder straps and the position of the backpack's center of gravity could be changed, so the center of gravity of the backpack could get closer to a waist of the user, thereby to promote the confortableness during carry the backpack and the capability of carrying heavy loads of the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A backpack 1 of a first embodiment according to the present invention is illustrated in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 and includes a body 10 and two shoulder straps 20, wherein the body 10 includes a rear surface 12, two connecting portions 14, and two adjusting portions 16. The two connecting portions 14 and the two adjusting portions 16 are disposed on the rear surface 12. When a user O carries the backpack 1, the rear surface 12 of the body 10 faces a back B of the user O, as shown in FIG. 2. In FIG. 1, each of the adjusting portions 16 includes a plurality of adjusting sites 162 which are lined vertically on the rear surface 12.
The two shoulder straps 20 are connected to the rear surface 12 of the body 10. A first end 22 of each of the shoulder straps 20 is connected to one of the two connecting portions 14. As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the first end 22 of each of the shoulder straps 20 is fixed to one of the two connecting portions 14.
A second end 24 of each of the shoulder straps 20 has a connector 26, wherein each of the connectors 26 is correspondingly connected to one of the two adjusting portions 16 and is connected to one of the adjusting sites 162. In FIG. 1, each of the connectors 26 has a first hook 262. The adjusting sites 162 are formed by a plurality of rings 164 formed between the corresponding adjusting portion 16 and the rear surface 12. The first hook 262 is hooked through one of the rings 164. In FIG. 1, each of the connectors 26 is connected to the second end 24 of one of the shoulder straps 20.
In the current embodiment, when each of the connectors 26 is connected to the different adjusting sites 162 of the corresponding adjusting portion 16, a height of each of the shoulder straps 20 and a position of a center of gravity G of the backpack 1 is changed accordingly. In FIG. 2, when the connectors 26 are connected to the adjusting sites 162 at a lower position of the corresponding adjusting portions 16, the shoulder straps 20 are located at a lower height, and the position of the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 is higher; in FIG. 3, when the connectors 26 are connected to the adjusting sites 162′ at a higher position of the corresponding adjusting portions 16, the shoulder straps 20 are located at a higher height, and the position of the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 is lower. In this way, the backpack 1 of the current embodiment allows the user O to alter the adjusting sites 162 that the shoulder straps 20 engaged with the body 10, thereby to provide a proper height of the shoulder straps 20 and a proper position of the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 to the user O, so that the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 could get as close as possible to a waist W of the user O, and the user O could feel more comfortable when carries the backpack 1, and the capability of carrying heavy loads of the user O could be increased.
Referring to FIG. 4, the first end 22 of each of the shoulder straps 20 of a second embodiment according to the present invention is detachably connected to one of the two connecting portions 14. In the current embodiment, the first end 22 of each of the shoulder straps 20 is detachably attached to one of the two connecting portions 14 by a strap buckle 222.
Referring to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, each of the shoulder straps 20 of a third embodiment according to the present invention includes a reinforcing member 29, and a top edge 18 of the body 10 includes two reinforcing portion 182. In the current embodiment, each of the reinforcing members 29 is correspondingly connected to one of the two reinforcing portions 182. In the current embodiment, each of the reinforcing members 29 includes a second hook 292, and the reinforcing portions 182 are two fabric loops 184, wherein each of the second hooks 292 is hooked to one of the two fabric loops 184.
In FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, each of the reinforcing members 29 is connected to the second end 24 of one of the shoulder straps 20 via a reinforcing strap 294, wherein an end of each of the reinforcing straps 294 is connected to the corresponding reinforcing member 29, and another end of each of the reinforcing straps 294 is connected to the second end 24 of one of the shoulder straps 20. In an embodiment, one of the ends of each of the reinforcing straps 294 is connected to the reinforcing member 29 and the other end of each of the reinforcing straps 294 is connected to an adjusting ring 282, wherein each of the adjusting rings 282 is slidably connected to an adjustable strap 28, so that each of the reinforcing straps 294 could be adjusted by sliding the corresponding adjusting ring 282 on the corresponding adjustable strap 28. In the current embodiment, each of the reinforcing straps 294 is detachably connected to one of the adjusting rings 282, wherein the end of each of the reinforcing straps 294 which is connected to the adjusting ring 282 is adjustable, so that a using length of each of thereinforcing straps 294 could be adjusted (e.g. elongated or shortened). In the current embodiment, the using length of each of the reinforcing straps 294 is defined as a length of each of the reinforcing straps 294 between the corresponding adjusting ring 282 and the corresponding reinforcing member 29.
In FIG. 2, a horizontal distance between the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 and the waist W of the user O is defined as D1; in FIG. 6, a horizontal distance between the center of gravity G of the backpack 1 and the waist W of the user O is defined as D2, wherein the horizontal distance D1 shown in FIG. 2 is greater than the horizontal distance D2 shown in FIG. 6. As shown in FIG. 6, by correspondingly connecting the reinforcing members 29 and the reinforcing portions 182 to lift the backpack 1, the weight of the backpack 1 could be distributed, and the center of gravity G of backpack 1 could be moved toward the waist W of the user O, thereby to shorten the horizontal distance between weight center G and the waist W of the user O. In this way, the user O could feel more comfortable when the user O carries the backpack 1, and the capability of carrying heavy loads of the user O could be increased.
With the aforementioned design, the backpack having the plurality of adjusting sites for the connectors of the shoulder straps could change the height of the shoulder straps and the position of the backpack's center of gravity by correspondingly connecting the connectors and different adjusting sites of the adjusting portions. In this way, the backpack could be adjusted to the best carry position. In addition, the backpack's center of gravity could get closer to the waist of the user to enhance the carrying comfortableness and to increase the capability of carrying heavy loads of the user.
It must be pointed out that the embodiments described above are only some preferred embodiments of the present invention. All equivalent structures which employ the concepts disclosed in this specification and the appended claims should fall within the scope of the present invention.
