Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to methods, apparatus and systems for providing bag with inflatable pillow and pertains particularly to a stylish, organized and portable backpack with a pillow for supporting the head and cervical region of a person when the person is in a reclining or prone position, and especially to such a pillow which is inflatable and is capable of providing yieldable support with controllable firmness, shape and thickness, and which occupies very little space when deflated.
Every day, millions of American consumers embark from their homes carrying purses, satchels, backpacks, book bags and brief cases, loaded with myriad personal items and accessories. Whether a small child who crams lunch money, text books and homework in a book bag; a busy executive carrying a briefcase packed with contracts, business files and expense receipts; or a homemaker carrying a diaper bag filled with baby accessories, a wallet, cell phone and house keys, most people find that they rarely leave their home empty handed. Not limited to use by students, homemakers, or business professionals, these carryalls are also a “must have” commodity for those who commute to work every day via public transportation; riding a train or bus to the job requires that all necessary personal items are stowed in an enclosed bag that is easy to transport, particularly when such commutes can take up to an hour one way.
Unfortunately, carrying a bag while traveling requires not only utility for carrying multiple articles but users always require and expect better and enhanced features. While traveling one of the basic and necessary requirements is a travel pillow. A pillow generally provides support for the head and neck, typically in a laying position. A travel pillow, conversely, is designed to provide support for the head and neck while seated, as is common during long automobile, train, and airplane trips. A travel pillow is generally “U” shaped and is adapted to fit around the neck of a person. A travel pillow can prevent neck strain and promote comfort by supporting a person's neck and head vertically.
U.S. Pat. No. 6,230,349 to Silver et al. on May 15, 2001, describes a travel pillow having a compact size and U-shape for cradling the head and neck of a user while sitting. This device is adapted to allow the user to allow or remove fill material in order to adjust firmness. While this invention is capable of providing neck support, it does not provide adequate neck support in left, right, and forward positions. Furthermore, this travel pillow will force the person's head forward, causing neck strain, as there is no support in the front. The lobes, moreover, are not tall enough, and the lobes will split out if one's head falls left or right.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,345,347 to Kantor on Aug. 24, 1982, describes a cushion having a U-shaped portion for supporting the head and neck of a user while sitting. This device is adapted to accept a sleeve to cover parts of the cushion that will touch skin or hair, and includes weights for balancing the device on the shoulders. While this invention is capable of providing neck support, it does not provide adequate neck support in left, right, and forward positions and is not adapted to prevent an extreme forward head position.
U.S. Pat. No. 98,859 to Fast on Jan. 18, 1870, describes a travel pillow having a cushion for promoting the comfort of passengers while traveling. This device comprises an inflatable semi-circular cushion and a strap adapted to form the cushion around the neck by applying downward force with the arms. While this invention is capable of providing neck support, it does not provide adequate neck support in left, right, and forward positions and is not adapted to prevent an extreme forward head position.

The present invention is directed to provide a bag specially designed for travelers, wherein the bag includes an attachable and adjustable inflatable pillow for sleeping and resting on during a flight or road trip and specialized pockets to carry stuff conveniently.
The present invention aims to solve the technical problems which were faced by travelers. Usually, travelers carry a pillow with them during traveling so they can relax. The current bag provides a bag with an inflatable pillow allowing the user to inflate it whenever required. Furthermore, the bag provides an innovative design with multiple compartments to store things in an arranged manner. The bag includes a padded laptop compartment, USB charging compartment, and a special area designed to receive the water bottles. Furthermore, it also has a compartment to receive smart devices like iPad or laptops and provides a comfortable display.
The backpack comprises a main body; a front portion; a back portion; a first connector member; and a second connector member. The main body includes a top portion including a first end portion and a second end portion. The second end portion is located opposite the first end portion. The front portion includes an elongated slit therethrough and a detachable connector member extending along a length of said slit and adapted to selectively open and close said slit. Wherein the back portion is attached to the front portion and forms an interior volume therebetween.
The pillow of the invention includes an inflatable chamber that may be inflated to the required degrees of firmness and/or thickness, to provide particular support as desired by an individual. This enables fewer different pillow constructions to be manufactured and inventoried and enables an individual to virtually custom fit a pillow to his or her particular desires or needs. Further, when the pillow is to be placed in storage, or while traveling, it may be deflated and folded or rolled to occupy a minimal amount of space.
As per its further embodiments, the pillow of the invention comprises an inner chamber that can be inflated to the required degrees of firmness. Further, an outer removable covering of soft, fibrous material may be placed over the bladder for improved comfort. This cover may comprise spaced sheets of material such as cotton, or rayon, or the like, between which is a layer of soft foamed material or other synthetic material, or feathers, or the like. A zipper or other suitable fastening means at one end of the cover enables it to be applied to and removed from the inflatable bladder when desired. The inflatable pillow is located in a compartment in the back of the backpack for storage. The pillow sticks to the back of the backpack with Velcro to be secure and also it can be positioned the way the individual wants for maximum comfort. Furthermore, the inflatable pillow is stored in its compartment on the back of the backpack.
A valve is associated with each separate chamber of the pillow to enable air to be introduced through the valve into the chamber to inflate it, or released through the valve to deflate the chamber. The valves may comprise valves of conventional construction such as those found on inflatable air mattresses, toys, and the like. When it is desired to store the pillow, the valve can be opened to permit the air to escape, whereby the pillow may be flattened and rolled or folded into a very compact size, thereby making it convenient to store or to carry along when traveling.
The bag as per its further embodiments will include a flexible board that's hidden inside a concealed pocket inside the backpack that promotes the support needed for an individual while using the backpack to rest or sleep and it also keeps the individual not falling to the left or right while using the backpack to rest or sleep. Furthermore, a waist belt allows to secure the backpack to the body of the individual so the backpack will support the user or individual. The straps of the waist belt are equipped with finger grips to make it easy for individuals to fasten the belt around the individual waist. The padded strap on top of the backpack is used to secure and lock the hands around the backpack while hugging it to rest or sleep.
While a specific embodiment has been shown and described, many variations are possible. With time, additional features may be employed. The particular shape or configuration of the platform or the interior configuration may be changed to suit the system or equipment with which it is used.
Having described the invention in detail, those skilled in the art will appreciate that modifications may be made to the invention without departing from its spirit. Therefore, it is not intended that the scope of the invention be limited to the specific embodiment illustrated and described. Rather, it is intended that the scope of this invention be determined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
