Abstract
The present invention relates to a dual backsight (6) and backsight set (12) structure in pistols that can be transformed into a rifle and/or rifles that can be transformed into a pistol.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a dual backsight structure in pistols that can be transformed into a rifle and/or rifles that can be transformed into a pistol.

PRIOR ART

Transformation of air and/or firearms to rifles through structural change forms the state of the art, however, this transformation is performed with the following alternatives:

    • By adding a barrel to the pistol,
    • By adding a collapsible buttstock to the grip
    • By adding a portable butt that is attached to the grip and can be removed.

On the other hand, particularly in rifle structures obtained from the pistol by adding buttstock to the grip with different methods, said pistol is transformed into a rifle by preserving main body and equipment thereof. However, in this case, it is not possible to go beyond the comfort and ergonomics of the existing equipment on the pistol.

The pistol equipment concerning the subject of the invention relates to a backsight structure and a single backsight on the gun transformed into a rifle in the state of the art;

    • Makes it difficult to aim since it is located on the grip,
    • There are deviations in the target,
    • Consequently, both the front sight and the backsight are rendered dysfunctional on the structure by being completely out of purpose and function.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the function of the backsight structure, which has become dysfunctional on the pistol body transformed into a rifle in the prior art, and also protection of the bead in conversion, which is another structure related to aiming.

When said pistol is transformed into a rifle with the newly created additional backsight structure by making the backsight structure on the gun body elements movable, that is, openable-closable, by means of the newly created additional backsight structure and an additional movable backsight structure to be used when the said pistol is transformed into a rifle,

    • It preserves the function of backsight and front sight when used as a gun, and the aiming state is preserved,
    • The backsight and front sight functions are preserved, while aiming is also preserved in the new structure, which has been transformed from a pistol to a rifle by adding butt stock.
    • In both usage cases, the fixed front sight is fully functional for its intended purpose.

The subject of the invention relates to the dual backsight (6) structure in pistol-rifles (99), which can be transformed from a pistol to a rifle and from a rifle to a pistol, and FIG. 1 illustrates the general structure thereof. As a mechanism, the backsight (6), which is connected to the housing (3) on the casing (10) and the drum (4), which is connected to the body (5), has angular movement capability within said housing (3). Another backsight (6) is located on the upper cover (7) of the casing (10), and it is connected to the drum (4), which is also connected to the housing (3) and the body (5) on said upper cover (7) and has the same angular movement capability within said housing (3). As can be seen in FIG. 6, when the backsight (6), drum (4), and body (5) are connected to each other, they form the backsight set (12). The backsight set (12) is mounted in the housing (3) and can rotate around the element it is mounted on.

A housing (3) that is one of the main elements of the present invention, wherein said housing forms the abutting part for the backsight (6) used in aiming, as can be seen in FIG. 4. The housing (3) is not only a bearing for the backsight (6), but also for the body (5) and the drum (4), in which said backsight (6) is connected to and forms a backsight set (12).

Holes (2) drilled into the side walls (9) in the part of the housing (3) towards the grip and/or buttstock are opened for connecting the pin (1). Also, the rear wall (8) formed on the housing (3) in the direction of the grip and/or the buttstock acts as a barrier and/or border for the body (5) with which the backsight (6) is connected. Thus, the body (5) has an angle movement of 90 degrees in the direction of the X and Y axis. In other words, the body (5) of the back sight (6) is connected to the housing (3) on the casing (10) and/or the housing (3) on the upper cover (7) by means of the pin (1) passing through inside the hole (2) on the body (5), which is aligned by being seated between the two holes (2) drilled into the housing (3). The structural characteristics of the housing (3) can be seen in detail in FIG. 5.

A pin (1) that is one of the main elements of the present invention, wherein said pin allows for connecting the body (5), with which the backsight (6) is connected, to the housing (3), as can be seen in FIG. 3. In other words, the pin (1) connects the backsight set (12) to the housing (3). Alternatively, instead of the pin (1), a spring ball and similar material can be used, which will act as said pin (1) and provide movement additionally.

A backsight (6) that is one of the main elements of the present invention, wherein said backsight is connected to the body (5) with the drum (4), as can be seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3. The lower part of the backsight (6), that is, the part where it connects to the body, has a grooved (11) structure and it held by the grooves (11) of the drum (4). The manual counter movements of the drum (4) in the X-axis direction enable the backsight (6) to be moved up and down in the Y-axis direction.

A drum (4) that is one of the main elements of the present invention, wherein said drum has a cylindrical form with a hole (2) as can be seen in FIG. 4. The inside of the hole (2) drilled into the drum (4) is provided with a groove (11). Said backsight (6) becomes an element of the housing (3) by means of connecting the grooves (11) on the backsight (6) with the grooves (11) inside the hole (2) of the drum (4). On the other hand, the manual counter movements of the drum (4) in the X-axis direction enable the backsight (6) to be moved up and down in the Y-axis direction. In other words, the drum (4) wraps the backsight (6) like a bolt, and it allows said backsight (6) to move up and down with its movement just like a bolt.

Whether on the casing (10) or on the upper cover (7); housing (3), side wall (9), rear wall (8), hole (2), body (5), drum (4), backsight (6), and pin (1) are materials of the same structure serving the same purpose and/or fields. The backsight (6), which is also on the casing (10) or on the upper cover (7), and thus the body (5) have the capability of an angular opening and closing movement towards the inside of the housing (3). The backsight (6), which is also on the casing (10) or on the upper cover (7), is completely aligned with the front sight and in a position compatible for aiming.

A collapsible backsight (6) configuration that fits into the housing (3), which is the subject of the invention; wherein it relates the use of the backsight (6) on the casing (10) and therefore the backsight set (12) by opening it 90 degrees, when the pistol is in the pistol state As in FIG. 1, on the upper cover (7), or if it is as in FIG. 2, if the pistol is in the rifle state. The backsight (6), which is the subject of the invention, is completely suitable for use according to the user's preference. Namely, in case the user desires to use the gun in hand as a pistol, as in FIG. 1, the backsight (6) and thus the backsight set (12) on the upper cover (7) are opened by pulling from the housing (3). The body (5), which is held by the side walls (9) by means of the pin (1), is pulled from the end of the backsight (6) such that it abuts the rear wall (8), thereby providing said backsight (6) to become ready for use. On the other hand, in case the user desires to use the gun in hand as rifle, as in FIG. 2, the backsight (6) and thus the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) are opened by pulling from the housing (3). The body (5), which is held by the side walls (9) by means of the pin (1), is pulled from the end of the backsight (6) such that it abuts the rear wall (8), thereby providing said backsight (6) to become ready for use.

When it is desired to disable the backsight (6) and thus the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) and the upper cover (7), the backsight (6) and thus the backsight set (12) are pushed in the direction of the barrel and placed inside the housing (3) and closed, as can be seen in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2.

In other words, when the pistol-rifle, which is the gun of the present invention, is desired to be used as a pistol according to the user's preference, as can be seen in FIG. 1, the user should use the backsight (6) located in the housing (3) on the upper cover (7). Therefore, in use as a pistol, the backsight (6) on the upper cover (7) should be kept open, that is, it should be removed from the housing (3) with which it is connected, by pulling the backsight set (12). In this case, the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) should be in the closed position, that is, pushed and seated into its housing (3). Thus, the backsight (6) on the upper cover (7) is used for aiming in accordance with the front sight.

In other words, when the pistol-rifle, which is the gun of the present invention, is desired to be used as a rifle according to the user's preference, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the user should use the backsight (6) located in the housing (3) on the casing (10). Therefore, in use as a rifle, the backsight (6) on the casing (10) should be kept open, that is, it should be removed from the housing (3) with which it is connected, by pulling the backsight set (12). In this case, the backsight set (6) on the upper cover (7) should be in the closed position, that is, pushed and seated into its housing (3). Thus, the backsight (6) on the casing (10) is used for aiming in accordance with the front sight.

The use of the present invention in the form of a pistol and in the form of a rifle is completely dependent on the preference of the user. For example, when used as a pistol, the user can completely close the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) or on the upper cover (7), in other words, place it in its housing (3), depending on his/her preference, and also both of said backsight sets (12) can be used by keeping them in the open state, that is, by removing them from their housings (3). Thus, the desired backsight (6) and thus the backsight set (12) are opened and closed depending on the user's preference. Therefore, if the user desires, he/she can open both backsight sets (12) or one of said backsight set (12) or close both said backsight sets (12). The backsight set (12) has free movement capability in the housing (3) as long as the pin (1), the rear wall (8), and the side walls (9) allow it.

The present invention eliminates the disadvantages that may arise from the fact that the backsight (6) on the upper cover (7) is very close to the eye of the user when the gun, namely the pistol-rifle, is used as a rifle. Therefore, in use as a rifle, the backsight set (12) on the upper cover (7) is closed by closing it, that is, by being placed in its housing; the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) is opened, that is, it is removed from its housing (3), and aiming compatibility is ensured with the barrel called adjustable sights.

The present invention eliminates the disadvantages that may arise from the fact that the backsight (6) on the casing (10) is very close to the eye of the user when the gun, namely the pistol-rifle, is used as a pistol. Therefore, in use as a pistol, the backsight set (12) on the casing (10) is closed by closing it, that is, by being placed in its housing; the backsight set (12) on the upper cover (7) is opened, that is, it is removed from its housing (3), and aiming compatibility is ensured with the barrel called adjustable sights.

Also, according to the user's preference, the height of the backsight (6) can be adjusted by means of the drum (4). In other words, the precise adjustment of the bushing height of the backsight (6) is performed by the drum (4).
