Claims
- 1. Bag making material including film and a male zipper profile, comprising:
- an extruded plastic film;
- an elongated extruded plastic male zipper profile having a base attached to said film;
- an extruded plastic alignment rib having a base attached to said film in adjacent spaced parallel relation to said male profile; and
- a stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said male profile base and extending at least partially onto the back of said rib base and having a stabilizing beam effect with respect to the relation of said male profile and alignment rib.
- 2. Bag making material according to claim 1, wherein said stabilizing ridge has a maximum thickness back of said profile base and tapers from said maximum thickness toward the adjacent side of said alignment rib.
- 3. Bag making material according to claim 1, including a stabilizing ridge along the back of said alignment rib base.
- 4. Bag making material according to claim 3, including a second alignment rib having a base on said film in spaced parallel relation at the opposite side of said profile from said first mentioned alignment rib, and a stabilizing ridge along said second alignment rib base.
- 5. Bag making material including film and a male zipper profile, comprising:
- an extruded plastic film;
- an elongated extruded plastic male zipper profile having a base attached to said film;
- an extruded plastic alignment rib on said film in adjacent spaced parallel relation to said male profile and having a base attached to said film; and
- a stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said alignment rib base and having a stabilizing beam effect with respect to the relation of said alignment rib to said male profile.
- 6. Bag making material according to claim 5, including a stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said male profile base.
- 7. Bag making material according to claim 6, wherein said stabilizing ridge has a maximum thickness back of said profile base and tapers from said maximum thickness toward the adjacent side of said alignment rib.
- 8. Bag making material according to claim 5, including a second alignment rib having a base on said film in spaced parallel relation at the opposite side of said profile from said first mentioned alignment rib, and a stabilizing ridge on said film along said second alignment rib base.
- 9. Bag making material according to claim 1, wherein said ridge tapers onto a stabilizing ridge along the back of said alignment rib base.
- 10. Bag making material according to claim 5, including a stabilizing ridge along the back of said male profile and tapering toward and joining said ridge along the back of said alignment rib base.
- 11. Bag making material according to claim 5, wherein said stabilizing ridges are separately extruded members attached to said film.
- 12. Bag making material including film and a male zipper profile, comprising:
- an extruded plastic film;
- an elongated extruded plastic male zipper profile having a base attached to said film;
- an extruded plastic alignment rib base on said film in adjacent spaced parallel relation to said male profile; and
- an extruded stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said male profile base tapering toward and joining an extruded stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said alignment rib base.
- 13. Bag making material according to claim 12, wherein said stabilizing ridges are separately extruded members attached to said film.
- 14. Bag making material including film and a male zipper profile, comprising:
- an extruded plastic film;
- an elongated extruded plastic male zipper profile having a base attached to said film;
- an extruded plastic alignment rib on said film in adjacent spaced parallel relation to said male profile;
- a stabilizing ridge on said film along the back of said male profile base and having a stabilizing beam effect with respect to the relation of said male profile and alignment rib; and
- said ridge being a separately extruded member attached to said film.
