Abstract
A bag is disclosed which comprises a body; a lid; a first locking member attached to the lid; a second locking member whose two ends are attached to the body; characterized in that the first locking member is attached to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing, buttoning, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member is firmly interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a bag with a structure that allows the lid to be interlocked with the body of the bag.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A bag, as described in FIG. 23, including a body 01, a locking member 02 that is stretched over the body and a lid 03 which can be held by the locking member 02, is known. Such a bag is disclosed in JP09188338A and JP08001135U. A disadvantage of the bag is that the lid 03 can be easily released from the member 02 during transportation and items inside the bag can be fallen out.


JP2010111393A discloses a bag, as described in FIG. 24, wherein both sides of the bag lid have hooks 04 that can be interlocked with a horizontally stretched locking member to prevent the lid from moving out of the body. Although such an invention can, somewhat but not completely, overcome the disadvantage of the two above mentioned inventions. In fact, the lid can still move out, especially during transportation.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a bag having a structure that allows the lid to be interlocked with the body to overcome the above described disadvantage of the known bags.


According to a first aspect of the present invention, the bag comprises:


a body;


a lid;


a first locking member attached to the lid; and


a second locking member whose two ends are attached to the body;


characterized in that, the first locking member is attached to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning, thereby, when the lid is closed, the first locking member is firmly interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is one part of the lid, this part is formed by folding reversely the lid and then attaching the folded part to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning in a continuous or discontinuous line.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through a gap between the second locking member and the body of the bag, then interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid and there are also hooks provided on the first locking member that can be interlocked with the second locking member, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the gap between the second locking member and the body of the bag, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, while the hooks on the first locking member will be afterwards interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, and there are also hooks provided on the lid that can be interlocked with the second locking member, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the gap between the second locking member and the body of the bag, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, while the hooks on the lid will be afterwards interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is interlocked with the second locking member without being passed through the gap between the body and the second locking member.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the second locking member has a first slot thereon, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot, then interlocked with the said slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body of the bag, then interlocked with the slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body of the bag, then interlocked with the slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the second locking member has a first slot thereon, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot, from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the second locking member has a first slot and a second slot thereon, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the two said slots, then interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then passed through the second slot and interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the first aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then passed through the second slot and interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a second aspect of the present invention, the bag comprises:


a body;


a lid;


a first locking member attached to the lid; and


a second locking member of a slot shape formed on the body;


characterized in that the first locking member is attached to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member and firmly interlocked with the said second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is one part of the lid, this part is formed by folding reversely the lid and attaching the folded part to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning in a continuous or discontinuous line.


According to a preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member on the body from the outside of the bag, then interlocked with said second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member on the body from the inside of the bag, then interlocked with the said second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the bag also includes a third locking member of a slot shape provided on the bag body, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is sequentially passed through the second slot-shaped locking member and the third slot-shaped locking member, then interlocked with the said third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to a preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is sequentially passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the outside of the bag and the third slot-shaped locking member from the inside of the bag, then interlocked with the said third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to another preferred embodiment of the second aspect of the present invention, the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is sequentially passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the inside of the bag and the third slot-shaped locking member from the outside of the bag, then interlocked with the said third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


The present invention provides a new and inventive bag in which the first locking member is attached to the lid by a connection that grants the first locking member a stronger structure at the connecting position and therefore allows the said first locking member to be firmly interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the following description, preferred embodiments are described with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should, however, be understood that these embodiments, drawings and the detailed description are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. It will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that various modifications and changes of the present bag can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Rather, it is intended that all such variations are considered as within the scope thereof as limited solely by the claims appended hereto.


In the drawings, members which are identical or substantially similar are indicated by the same reference numbers.


As used herein, the term “outside surface of the lid” means the surface of the lid that can be seen from the outside when the lid is closed.


As used herein, the term “inside surface of the lid” means the surface of the lid that cannot be seen from the outside when the lid is closed.


According to a first aspect, as described in drawings from FIG. 1 to FIG. 16, the present bag comprises:


a body 15;


a lid 10;


a first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10; and


a second locking member 35 whose two ends are attached to the body 15;


characterized in that, the first locking member 30 is attached to the lid 10 by a connection 25, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member is interlocked firmly with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


The first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member 35 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 2).



FIG. 2a is a drawing of a modification of the embodiment in FIG. 2, wherein hooks 30a are provided on the first locking member 30, thereby, to close the lid, after the first locking member is interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, the hooks 30a will be interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.



FIG. 2b is a drawing of a modification of the embodiment in FIG. 2, wherein hooks 10a are provided on the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, after the first locking member is interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, the hooks 10a will be interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.


In another preferred embodiment, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is directly interlocked with the second locking member 35 without being passed through the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15 (FIG. 3)


The second locking member 35 can be attached to both sides of the bag body and provided far from the opening of bag (FIG. 1), or near the opening of the bag (FIG. 4).


The height of the first locking member 30 is required to be sufficiently great so that a groove formed by the first locking member 30 and the lid 10 has a sufficient depth that allows the second locking member to be firmly interlocked therewith.



FIG. 5 to FIG. 8 are drawings of the present bag according to a modification of the embodiment in FIG. 1, wherein the slot 40 is provided on the second locking member 35, and, to lose the lid, the first locking member 30 is passed through the first slot 40, then interlocked with the slot to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to the modified embodiment, the first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid 10 is passed through the first slot 40 from the inside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then interlocked with the first slot 40 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 6).


Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the first slot 40 from the outside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then interlocked with the slot 40 to prevent the lid from moving out.


The second locking member 35 can be attached to the two sides of the bag body and provided far from the opening of the bag (FIG. 5), or near the opening of the bag (FIG. 8).



FIG. 9 to FIG. 12 are drawings of the present bag according to another modification of the embodiment in FIG. 1, wherein the slot 40 is provided on the second locking member 35, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the first slot 40, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member 35 to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to the modified embodiment, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the slot 40 from the inside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member 35 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 10).


Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the slot 40 from the outside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.


The second locking member 35 can be attached to both sides of the bag body and provided far from the opening of the bag (FIG. 12), or near the opening of the bag (FIG. 12).



FIG. 13 to FIG. 16 are drawings of the present bag according to another modification of the embodiment in FIG. 1, wherein a first slot 40 and a second slot 45 are provided on the second locking member 35, and, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through both slots, then interlocked with the second slot 45 to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to the modified embodiment, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the slot 40 from the inside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then passed through the slot 45 from the outside of the gap and interlocked with said slot 45 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 14).


Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the slot 40 from the outside of the gap between the second locking member 35 and the body 15, then passed through the slot 45 from the inside of the gap and interlocked with the said slot 45 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 15).


The second locking member 35 can be attached to both sides of the bag body and provided far from the opening of the bag (FIG. 13), or near the opening of the bag (FIG. 16).


According to a second aspect, as described in drawings from FIG. 17 to FIG. 22, the present bag comprises:


a body 15;


a lid 10;


a first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10; and


a second locking member of a slot shape 50 provided on the body 15;


characterized in that, the first locking member 30 is attached to the lid 10 by a connection 25, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 is passed through the second locking member 50, and firmly interlocked with the second locking member 50 to prevent the lid from moving out.


In an embodiment of the second aspect, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 30, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member 50 from the outside of the bag, then interlocked with the said second slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 18).


Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through the second locking member 50 from the inside of the bag body, then interlocked with the said second slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 19).


The height of the first locking member 30 is required to be sufficiently great so that a groove formed by the first locking member 30 and the lid 10 has a sufficient depth that allows the second locking member to be firmly interlocked therewith.



FIG. 20 to FIG. 22 are drawings of the present bag according to another modification of the embodiment in FIG. 17, wherein, in addition to the second slot-shaped locking member 50, the body 15 are further provided with a third slot-shaped locking member 55, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 is passed through both slot-shaped locking members 50 and 55, then interlocked with the third slot-shaped locking member 55 to prevent the lid from moving out.


According to the modified embodiment, the first locking member 30 is attached to the outside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member 50 from the outside of the bag body, then passed through the third slot-shaped locking member 55 from the inside of the bag body, and interlocked with the said slot-shaped locking member 55 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 21).


Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is attached to the inside surface of the lid 10, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member 50 from the inside of the bag body, then passed through the slot-shaped locking member 55 from the outside of the bag body and interlocked with the said slot-shaped locking member 55 to prevent the lid from moving out (FIG. 22).


In all the above described embodiments, the bag body 15 is structured as conventionally known bags for containing items, made of plastic, polymer, paper or other materials, but most preferably plastic or polymer. For example, as described in the drawings, the bag body 15 consists of two halves that are attached to each other by a welding line 20, the bag lid 10 is stretched from one of the halves and folded over to the other half to cover the opening of the bag.


In all the above described embodiments, the first locking member 30 can be a separate member that is attached to the lid 10 by the connection 25 in a continuous or discontinuous line. Alternatively, the first locking member 30 is one part of the lid 10, this part is formed by folding the lid 10 to one side, then attaching the folded part to the lid 10 by the connection 25 in a continuous or discontinuous line.


In all the above described embodiments, the first locking member 30 is provided at one side of the lid 10. Alternatively, each side of the lid can be provided with the first locking member.


In all the above described embodiments, the edges of the locking members can be structured as a line, or a curve, or in any shape.


In all the above described embodiments, the first locking member 30 can be one stripe of material which can be either continuous stripe (in a single piece) or discontinuous stripe consisting of separate pieces.


In all the above described embodiments, the second locking member 35, the first slot 40, the second slot 45, the second slot-shaped locking member 50 and the third slot-shaped locking member 55 are shaped similarly to that of the first locking member 30, thereby allowing them to be firmly interlocked with the first locking member 30.


In all the above described embodiments, the connection 25 can be formed by welding, gluing, sewing, buttoning, clipping or any other mechanical means that allows two pieces of material to be connected together. The connection can be performed in a continuous connection line or at certain points to make a discontinuous connection line.


According to a third aspect, the invention refers to a structure for interlocking a lid with a body of a bag, wherein the structure can be applied to any of the above described embodiments, and the structure comprises:


the first locking member 30 attached to the lid 10 by the connection 25 that can be formed by welding, gluing, sewing, buttoning, clipping or any mechanical means that allows two pieces of material to be connected together; and the second locking member 35 whose two ends are attached to the bag body 15, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member 30 is firmly interlocked with the second locking member 35 to prevent the lid from moving out.


The structure and operation of the first locking member 30 and the second locking member 35 according to the third aspect would be as above described.

Claims
  • 1. A bag comprises: a body;a lid;a first locking member attached to the lid;a second locking member whose two ends are attached to the body;characterized in that, the first locking member is attached to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member is firmly interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out;
  • 2. The bag of claim 1, wherein the first locking member is one part of the lid, this part is formed by folding reversely the lid and attaching the folded part to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning in a continuous or discontinuous line.
  • 3. The bag of claim 1, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through a gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 4. The bag of claim 3, wherein the first locking member are provided with hooks thereon, thereby, to close the lid, after the first locking member is interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, these hooks will be interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.
  • 5. The bag of claim 3, wherein the lid are provided with hooks thereon, thereby, to close the lid, after the first locking member is interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member, these hooks will be interlocked with the upper edge of the second locking member reversely to prevent the lid from moving out and moving in.
  • 6. The bag of claim 1, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is interlocked with the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out without being passed through the gap between the second locking member and the body.
  • 7. The bag of claim 1, wherein the second locking member is provided with a first slot, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot, then interlocked with the said first slot to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 8. The bag of claim 7, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the said first slot to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 9. The bag of claim 7, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the said first slot to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 10. The bag of claim 1, wherein the second locking member is provided with a first slot, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 11. The bag of claim 10, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 12. The bag of claim 10, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then interlocked with the lower edge of the second locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 13. The bag of claim 1, wherein the second locking member is provided with a first slot and a second slot, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through both slots, then interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 14. The bag of claim 13, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the inside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then passed through the second slot and interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.

The bag of claim 14, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the first slot from the outside of the gap between the second locking member and the body, then passed through the second slot and interlocked with the second slot to prevent the lid from moving out.

A bag comprises: a body;a lid;a first locking member attached to the lid;a second locking member of a slot shape formed on the body;characterized in that, the first locking member is attached to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member, then interlocked with the said second slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 17. The bag of claim 16, wherein the first locking member is one part of the lid, this part is formed by folding reversely the lid and attaching the folded part to the lid by welding, gluing, sewing or buttoning in a continuous or discontinuous line.

The bag of claim 16, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the outside of the bag, then interlocked with the said second slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.

The bag of claim 16, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the inside of the bag, then interlocked with the said second slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.

The bag of claim 16, wherein the bag further comprises a third slot-shaped locking member provided on the bag body, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is sequentially passed through the second slot-shaped locking member and the third slot-shaped locking member, then interlocked with the third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 21. The bag of claim 20, wherein the first locking member is attached to the outside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the outside of the bag, then passed through the third slot-shaped locking member from the inside of the bag and interlocked with the said third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
  • 22. The bag of claim 20, wherein the first locking member is attached to the inside surface of the lid, thereby, to close the lid, the first locking member attached to the lid is passed through the second slot-shaped locking member from the inside of the bag, then passed through the third slot-shaped locking member from the outside of the bag and interlocked with the said third slot-shaped locking member to prevent the lid from moving out.
