Claims
- 1. A balloon stuffing device, comprising:
- an inner hollow member having a longitudinal axis and having a first end;
- a first valve disposed within said inner hollow member;
- an outer hollow member that slidably receives a portion of said inner hollow member and that is movable in a direction substantially parallel to said longitudinal axis to change the relative position between said outer hollow member and said inner hollow member;
- a second valve interconnected with said outer hollow member;
- a third hollow member adapted to receive a balloon stuffing item and having an open end over which is stretched the open end of an inflatable balloon, said third hollow member also having a second end; and
- a substantially hollow connector fixedly interconnected between said first end of said inner hollow member and said second end of said third hollow member.
- 2. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said inner hollow member and said outer hollow member have substantially cylindrical shapes.
- 3. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said third hollow member has a substantially cylindrical shape.
- 4. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said first valve is a check valve.
- 5. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said second valve is a check valve.
- 6. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said connector includes:
- an externally-threaded first connector member; and
- an internally-threaded second connector member adapted to be screwed onto said first connector member.
- 7. The balloon stuffing device of claim 6, wherein said connector includes an air seal that engages said first connector member and said second connector member.
- 8. The balloon stuffing device of claim 1, wherein said connector includes:
- a flange interconnected with the second end of said third hollow member;
- a first connector member having a first set of threads on a portion of its outer surface;
- a second connector member having a second set of threads on a portion of its inner surface, said second set engaging said first set; and
- an air seal that engages said first connector member and said second connector member.
