Commands as used within refers to various instructions included on the applicable game pieces for the players to follow during game play.
Bank pot as used within refers to a central area of the flex mat where the game pieces are pooled during game play as a result of commands.
The embodiment is a portable board game that allows multiple people to interact in an entertaining manner that includes many obstacles for the players along the way. Each participant receives a set of game pieces by utilizing the novelty cash to purchase chips in denominations of $1, $5, or $10; the amount of each chip will be negotiated by the players prior to starting the game and each player will be provided with four (4) brown chips. All players will participate in the game by utilizing game pieces such as one set of three 6-sided bonus dice, one set of (3) three 12-sided player dice (D-12), player chips, debt player chips, one deck of vault playing cards, and a 2-sided flex game board mat. The game is designed to allow each player to start with (4 brown) player chips and each player participating must place (1) one brown chip in the Bank pot at the start of the game, leaving each player with (3) three brown chips. Depending on the number of players, the same number of wipe debt chips is supplied by the house and placed in the bank pot to start game play. Vault cards, chips, and novelty cash can also be placed in the center of the flex game board mat for use in the event a player must either pull a Vault card, deposit or collect chips from the Bank Pot. All players are equally positioned around the flex game board mat at the start of the game.
The game starts when the designated 1st player rolls the (set of 3) D-12 Player dice in which the ultimate results determine the number of chips (3) each player is left with at the end of the game. Player may ONLY roll as many D-12 Player dice as there are chips that are in the player's hand at any given time. To further elaborate, if a player only has (2) two chips then the player may only roll (2) two D-12 Player dice but if the player holds (3) three or more player chips then the player must roll all (3) three D-12 Player dice and follow each command per dice. Each player gets a chance to roll going in a counterclockwise direction. At any point during the game, if a player does not have any chips, then the player is skipped with no dice rolls until the player receives dice as a result of an exchange due to a command or another player donates chips to the player at which time the player is permitted to resume play. This process will repeat until the game is completed and a winner is determined. Each dice rolled will instruct the players what to do with each game piece. As an example, if a player roll 2 of the D-12 dice, one Left and one Right, the player must pass one chip Left to an adjacent player and the other Right to an adjacent player. The object is to follow all commands that is intended to direct the player to either roll bonus dice, pull from the Vault card deck or be locked out of the game; because this is a game of chance each dice roll will be a surprise to the player. The object of the game is to be the participant player who has the last remaining chips after all other players have none left. The following keys are descriptions of all commands found on the face of the game pieces that players must follow during game play:
D-12 Player Dice Key
D-6 Bonus Dice Key
The board game requires that each player take a risk while using the dice and cards by possibly being instructed to pass along games pieces with other players. The Vault Card deck will include various instructions for each player who has to pull a card. Each card the players pull will be a surprise. A list of each Vault Card is listed below:
VAULT Card Deck Key (Color-Coded)
It will be appreciated that all game pieces may be designed using various colors and as a result the aforementioned description should not be considered as limiting but merely used as an example.
In an exemplary embodiment, the flex mat will be placed on a flat surface that will accommodate multiple players while the board game is in use.
In an exemplary embodiment, the six-sided dice will be utilized during play by allowing each player to roll dice at each turn while the board game is in use. The board game is a game of chance where each side of the six-sided dice provides a surprise command for the player.
Once a player is all out of chips, the game doesn't end for that player but rather the player at any time during the game can receive chips from any player in any position around the game flex mat if a player must pass a chip to that player. Once this happens, the player can rejoin the game and resume their role in the game's rotation.
The skilled person will be aware of a range of possible modifications of the various embodiments described above. Accordingly, the present invention is defined by the claims and their equivalents.
