Claims
- 1. In a device for converting an analog input signal with varying peak values and transitions to a binary output signal wherein the device includes positive and negative peak detectors with peak hold circuits coupled thereto and a comparator circuit an improvement wherein each peak detector and respective peak hold circuit includes:
- further circuitry for eliminating selected of the varying peak values from the input signal; and
- slope sensing circuitry, coupled between said eliminating circuity and the comparator for detecting transitions in the input signal and for generating the binary output signal therefrom.
