The present invention relates to scrapers for cleaning cooking grills, such as used in barbecues. It is a brushless and bristle-free design so as to eliminate the danger of possibly ingesting a wire bristle.
The objective of the invention is to provide a simple scraping and rinsing tool for cleaning grill grates and grill housings.
Briefly summarized, the present grill scraping tool is comprised of a length of aluminum pipe, a length of PVC pipe, and a garden hose adapter. The specially designed scraping tip intersects the individual grill grate bars at substantially a 45 degree angle to form a cutting edge.
The present invention is a tool useful for scraping off food residue and char from barbecue or other cooking grill grates. The tool may also be used to rinse off charred material by connecting the tool to a garden hose and allowing a low flow of water to exit to tool tip while scraping.
