The invention relates to carrier tube developed for break action air rifles and carrying rifle barrel and rifle accessories.
The invention particularly relates to a barrel and accessory carrying tube allowing placement of barrel of desire calibre and in a replaceable manner in a tube manufactured from solid and rigid polyurethane, plastic and plastic derivative materials by injection or cast method by use of moulds and also allowing placement of accessories enriching the rifle such as sight, iron sight, silencer thereon.
The most convenient and simplest air rifle is the air pressure pneumatic system rifle. It is set by means of compressing the air by help of a lever in the tube located inside a mechanism. Upon pulling the trigger the air is released and hits the pellet in the barrel and provides shooting. Break action rifles provides some advantages to the new beginner shooters in respect to both lightness and knowing the rifle.
In the related art, the carrier tube is formed on rifle barrel by pressing the plastic materials. In such applications the barrel is fully surrounded by plastic material. Therefore, the barrel is fixed and cannot be replaced. In addition, in addition to replacement of barrel located inside tube, also rifle accessories such as sight, iron sight and silencer placed altogether on carrying tube are not mentioned.
As a result, the need for barrel and accessory carrying tube made from economical, useful, highly safe plastic material and also allowing placement of replaceable barrel and also accessories enriching rifle such as sight, iron sight, silencer in order to solve the above mention problems existing in the related art and inadequacy of existing solutions have necessitated development in the related art.
The invention solves all of the above mentioned problems at the same time. This invention relates to a barrel and accessory carrying tube allowing placement of barrel of desire caliber and in a replaceable manner in a tube manufactured from solid and rigid polyurethane, plastic and plastic derivative materials having the highest safety, by injection or cast method by use of moulds and also allowing placement of accessories enriching the rifle such as sight, iron sight, silencer thereon.
The most important purpose of the invention is to allow replacement of the barrel located inside it. As known, break action air rifles can be produced in several calibres (4.5 mm/5.5 mm/6.35 mm etc. Every rifle has one single caliber and it cannot be changed. The barrel and accessory developed under this invention allows conversion of a rifle into various calibers by means of replacement of easy and quick calibre replacement without changing general structure of the rifle. Thus the users can use their rifles at 4.5 or 5.5 or other calibres as they wish.
Another purpose of the invention is to enable carrying several rifle accessories together with barrel. A better and complicated embodiment is obtained by means of placing accessories enriching the rifle such as sight and silencer into and onto the tube. The sight and iron sight housings thereon allow use of sight or iron sight of various sizes and features. Thus the users can make more enjoyable shooting by selecting the sight mechanisms of physical features as they like personally.
A further purpose of the invention is to provide an empty tube allowing placement of a replaceable barrel of any desired caliber. The users is enabled to use one same rifle in various calibres by means of placing the barrel tube of calibre he wishes without changing general structure of the rifle. Also sight and iron sight housings provided thereon enable use of sight mechanism having different features on the same rifle thus provides customer satisfaction.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide placement of equipments such as barrel, sight, iron sight, silencer to perform functions of barrel and accessory carrying tube functions by placing them on the carrying tube in a solid and safe manner.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide use of one same rifle at different calibres by means of allowing change of barrel located inside the break action air rifle, and to collect rifle accessories such as sight, iron sight, silencer on one body and provide plain but highly safe barrel and accessory carrying tube embodiment.

The invention will be understood better with reference numbers the figures attached hereto.
This invention relates to a barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) allowing placement of barrel of desire calibre and in a replaceable manner in a tube manufactured from solid and rigid polyurethane, plastic and plastic derivative materials having high safety, by injection or cast method by use of moulds and also allowing placement of accessories enriching the rifle such as sight, iron sight, silencer thereon.
In the following sections the formation of barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) and its characteristic features are disclosed. Barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) is produced in hollow form from solid and highly safe polyurethane, plastic and plastic derivative materials by use of injection or cast method. For that reason, its feature is different from applications in the related art.
The front section contains a housing (16) providing positioning of the bead (4) and a screw housing (17) where bead fixing screw (14) is inserted. The upper section has a bulge (20) in a manner making silencer (5) visible on the silencer housing (18). On the same side the extension (20) contains Idle Air Discharge ducts (19) providing discharge of idle air after shooting on.
The inner section of the barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) disclosed under this invention is emptied in the desired form. Rear section has a housing (35) for positioning the rifle barrel (7). Thus when desired the barrel (7) is replaced easily and quickly and thus barrel (7) of desired calibre is fitted. Barrel rear centering housing (27) is provided on the back of this housing while barrel front centering washer (8) and barrel fixing Nut (9) housing (28) are provided on the front part. Front (28) and rear (27) centering housings keep the barrel (7) in the centre in the barrel and accessory carrying tube (2).
Barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) as its title indicates is the main component carrying the rifle barrel (7) and rifle accessories (back sight, bead, silencer). Being in hollow form enables disassembly and assembly or replacement of desired barrel (7) without change in rifle structure. Thus the users are enabled to use the same rifle at different calibres.
Another characteristic of the barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) disclosed under this invention is the back sight (3) and bead (4) positioning housings (21, 16) provided thereon. The said housings are formed taking into account the physical and personal features of the users. Back sight (3) and bead (4) are not fixed and are designed in a manner allowing adjustment as user desires. Thus the rifle is eligible for use with sight mechanisms of different features.
In addition, a silencer (5) is placed in the silencer housing (18) provided inside the carrying tube (2) and thus sound occurring after shooting is minimized.
As described above, rifle barrel (7) and rifle accessories are placed on a tube (2) and thus multifunctional not complicated but plain rifle barrel embodiment is provided.
In order to understand the barrel and accessory tube (2) better the mechanism formed upon assembly of the components constituting the system and the mounting of the mechanism on the rifle should be described.
Secondly, silencer (5) is placed inside the carrying tube (2). Silencer (5) is aligned in a manner to sit into the housing inside the barrel and accessory carrying tube and pushed into the tube. Upon this procedure, the silencer holder pin holes 2 (36) located thereon are aligned to the holes (26) on the carrying tube (2). Then mounting inside the barrel and accessory tube (2) is completed by help of the silencer pins (15).
Lastly, front sight (3) and bead (4) are located on the carrying tube (2). For this purpose, the back sight (3) is aligned to fit onto the extension (21) provided for it on the carrying tube (2). After back sight spring (13) is inserted into spring housing (23), it is seated onto the back sight (3) extension (21). Back sight holder pin (12) is inserted through the back sight holder pin hole (22). Lastly, the back sight adjustment screw (11) is seated into its housing (34) on the carrying tube (2) and placement of the back sight (3) onto barrel and accessory tube (2) is provided.
The next step is to mount the bead (4) onto the barrel and accessory carrying tube (2). During this operation, firstly the bead (4) is seated into the bead housing (16). Then the bead fixing screw (14) is seated into the housing (17) provided for it and the motionless of the bead (4) is provided.
Upon completion of these procedures, rifle barrel and accessories enriching the rifle are all placed into a carrying bag of sound and high safety and also a multifunctional as well as plain embodiment is obtained. This obtained embodiment is attached to rifle body (1) and an air rifle containing a barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) is obtained. In order to achieve this, barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) is located into the slot (32) on the rifle body (1). During this operation, the connection hole (24) thereon is aligned to the hole (33) on the rifle body (1). Connection screw (10) is passed through this hole and connection of barrel and accessory tube (2) to the rifle body (1) is provided. Lastly, set lever (6) is connected to the hole (25) on the carrying tube (2) and thus a break action air rifle containing barrel and accessory carrying tube (2) is obtained.
The biggest characteristic of the barrel and accessory tube (2) disclosed under this invention is that it enables replacement of rifle barrel (7). For this replacement, firstly silencer (5) is dismantled and removed from the tube (2) without damaging general structure of the rifle. Then the barrel fixing nut (9) is loosened and disassembled. Barrel together with front centering washer (8) are removed and barrel (7) is released. Lastly, the barrel is removed and put into a barrel carrying tube (2) having different calibre size. Thus the users are provided with the freedom to use the same rifle with barrels of different calibres.
The protection area of this application has been specified under claims and cannot be limited to the descriptions only given as sampling above. It is clear that any innovation can be provided by a person skilled in the related art by use of the similar embodiments and/or can also apply this embodiment in other areas for similar purposes used in the related art. Therefore, such embodiments will be lack of novelty and inventive step criteria.
