1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to vending machines, and particularly to a base of a vending machine.
2. Description of Related Art
A steady base is important for stability of vending machines. In use, the base is horizontally placed to hold a main body of a vending machine. Generally, the base is a rectangular frame and includes four holding poles. A steel plate is welded in each corner to prevent the rectangular frame from deforming. However, the welded steel plate increases a cost of the base. Therefore, there is room for improvement in the art.
Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean “at least one.”
Each first holding pole 10 includes a first top plate 11, a first bottom plate 13, and a first side plate 15. In one embodiment, the first top plate 11 is substantially parallel to the first bottom plate, and the first side plate 15 is substantially perpendicular to the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13. A length of the first side plate 15 is greater than a length of each of the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13. Each of two opposite ends of the first side plate 15 extends past a side edge of each of the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13. An installation space 17 is defined cooperatively by a portion of the first side plate 15 extended past the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13, a side edge of the first top plate 11, and a side edge of the first bottom plate 13.
Each second holding pole 20 includes a second top plate 21, a second bottom plate 23, and a second side plate 25. In one embodiment, the second top plate 21 is substantially parallel to the second bottom plate 23, and the second side plate 25 is substantially perpendicular to the second top plate 21 and the second bottom plate 23. The second top plate 21 defines an installation hole 211. A distance between the second top plate 21 and the second bottom plate 23 is substantially equal to a distance between the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13.
In one embodiment, a shape of each installation member 30 is substantially a right triangle. The installation member 30 includes a top wall 31, a bottom wall 33, and a sidewall 35. The top wall 31 is substantially parallel to the bottom wall 33, and the sidewall 35 is substantially perpendicular to the top wall 31 and the bottom wall 33. A plurality of through holes 36 extending through to the bottom wall 33 is defined along two side edges of the top wall 31. The through holes 36 reduce an amount of materials required to make the installation member 30 and strengthen the installation member 30. An installation portion 37 protrudes from the top wall 31. The installation portion 37 is substantially semicircular. A distance between the top wall 31 and the bottom wall 33 is substantially equal to a distance between the first top plate 11 and the first bottom plate 13. A gap (not shown) is defined between the top wall 31 and the bottom wall 33. Each installation member 30 is made of plastic.
In use, the base is used for supporting a main body of the vending machine. The installation members 30 are secured in four right corners between the first holding pole 10 and the second holding pole 20, which prevents the base from deforming.
It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages have been set forth in the foregoing description of embodiments, together with details of the structures and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and the arrangement of parts within the principles of the disclosure, to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
