Claims
- 1. A communication system comprising a first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus, wherein
the first communication apparatus comprises:
first reception means for receiving first transmission power control information from the second communication apparatus; first control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with a first control pattern before the first communication apparatus becomes able to receive the first transmission power control information; second control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with the first transmission power control information after the first communication apparatus becomes able to receive the first transmission power control information; and first transmission means for transmitting second transmission power control information to the second communication apparatus, and the second communication apparatus comprises:
second reception means for receiving the second transmission power control information from the first communication apparatus: third control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with the second transmission power control information after the second communication apparatus becomes able to receive the second transmission power control information; and second transmission means for transmitting the first transmission power control information to the first communication apparatus.
- 2. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first control pattern is a pattern for increasing transmission power to a predetermined value, and subsequently, less rapidly increasing the transmission power.
- 3. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first communication apparatus further comprises means for varying the first control pattern.
- 4. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein
the second communication apparatus further comprises third reception means for receiving information regarding an initial value of transmission power from the first communication apparatus, and the third control means sets an initial value of transmission power in accordance with the information regarding the initial value of the transmission power and carries out the transmission power control.
- 5. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first transmission means transmits a fixed second control pattern as the second transmission power control information before the first communication apparatus becomes able to receive the first transmission power control information.
- 6. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein
the first transmission means transmits a second control pattern as the second transmission power control information before the first communication apparatus becomes able to receive the first transmission power control information, and the first communication apparatus further comprises means for varying the second control pattern.
- 7. The communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second communication apparatus further comprises fourth control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with a fixed third control pattern before the first communication apparatus becomes able to receive the first transmission power control information.
- 8. A communication apparatus comprising:
reception means for receiving transmission power control information:
first control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with a control pattern before the communication apparatus becomes able to receive the transmission power control information; and second control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with the transmission power control information after the communication apparatus becomes able to receive the transmission power control information.
- 9. A communication apparatus comprising:
reception means for receiving transmission power control information; and control means for carrying out transmission power control in accordance with the transmission power control information after the communication apparatus becomes able to receive the transmission power control information.
