1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a bath curtain rack structure, and more particularly to one which is installed with ease and fixed firmly.
2. Description of the Prior Art
There are many DIY bath curtain racks on the market. However, the installation of the curtain racks is complicated and difficult, needing specialized techniques. In addition, the structure is not firm and the appearance is not beautiful.
Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve this problem.
According to the present invention, there is provided a bath curtain rack structure comprising a horizontal rod and a pair of retaining brackets. The horizontal rod has two ends connected to the pair of retaining brackets which are mounted on walls. Each of the pair of retaining brackets includes a base, a socket, a cover, and a screw. The base has a plurality of through holes and a protrusion thereon. The through holes are adapted for insertion of fasteners for the base to be secured on the walls. The protrusion has outer threads and a concave thereon. The socket has an arc end and a tubal section. The arc end corresponds in shape to the concave so that the angle of the socket is adjustable when the arc end is connected to the base. The tubal section is adapted for insertion of the horizontal rod. The arc end of the socket is formed with a threaded hole. The cover is formed with inner threads to engage with the outer threads of the protrusion. The screw is inserted through the threaded hole of the socket to fasten the socket on the base.
The cover is used to decorate the appearance of the retaining bracket, enhancing beauty and quality. The retaining bracket may be provided with a dual base to couple with another horizontal rod for hanging a bath towel.
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in
The horizontal rod 1 is resilient and retractable. The horizontal rod 1 has two ends connected to the pair of retaining brackets 2 which are mounted on walls, as shown in
Each of the pair of retaining brackets 2 comprises a base 21, a socket 22, a cover 23, and a screw 24. The base 21 has a plurality of through holes 211 and a protrusion 212 thereon. The through holes 211 are adapted for insertion of fasteners for the base 21 to be secured on the wall. The protrusion 212 has outer threads 213 and a concave 214 thereon. The socket 22 has an arc end 221 and a tubal section 222. The arc end 22 corresponds in shape to the concave 214 so that the angle of the socket 22 is adjustable when the arc end 22 is connected to the base 21. The tubal section 222 is adapted for insertion of the horizontal rod 1. The arc end 221 of the socket 22 is formed with a threaded hole 223. The cover 23 is formed with inner threads 231 to engage with the outer threads 213 of the protrusion 212. The screw 24 is inserted through the threaded hole 223 of the socket 22 to fasten the socket 22 on the base 21.
