Hereinafter, beauty equipment (hair care device 1A) according to the present exemplary embodiment will be described with reference to
[1. Configuration]
First, a configuration of hair care device 1A according to the present exemplary embodiment will be described.
Hair care device 1A according to the present exemplary embodiment is an example of beauty equipment according to the present disclosure, and is a hair dryer in the present exemplary embodiment.
Grip 1b as a portion gripped in a user's hand is coupled to a lower portion of housing 2 in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of body 1a. Hair care device 1A is configured such that body 1a and grip 1b present a substantially T-shaped or substantially L-shaped (in the present exemplary embodiment, substantially T-shaped) appearance in use.
Grip 1b has root 1c on a body 1a side and tip 1d. Sliding power switch 5 is provided on a side surface of grip 1b, and power cord 6 is pulled out from a protrusion end (tip 1d) of grip 1b. Further, grip 1b is rotatably coupled to body 1a via coupling part 1e at root 1c. As a result, hair care device 1A can be folded to a position where tip 1d lies along body 1a.
Further, fan 7 and motor 8 which are examples of an air blower are disposed on an upstream side (a side close to suction port 4a) in air blow flow channel 3a in body 1a.
Heater 9 which is an example of a heating unit that heats air blown from fan 7 is disposed on a downstream side of fan 7 (a side closer to discharge port 4b than fan 7). Heater 9 is formed, for example, by winding and disposing an electric resistor having a strip shape and a corrugated plate shape along an inner periphery of air blow flow channel 3a.
Further, on a lower side of (below) air blow flow channel 3a, branch flow channel 3b is present as a cold air flow channel provided separately from air blow flow channel 3a. In branch flow channel 3b, components of spray 10 according to the present exemplary embodiment are disposed. Details of a configuration of spray 10 will be described later with reference to
Further,
In the present exemplary embodiment, control unit 20 that supplies electric power to and controls operation of components operated by electric power, such as motor 8, heater 9, and spray 10, is disposed inside grip 1b. Note that electric circuits for supplying electric power to and controlling the operation of each component may be integrated into one substrate or may be distributed to a plurality of substrates.
Next, spray 10 included in hair care device 1A configured as described above will be described with reference to
Liquid supply flow channel 14a to which a liquid from liquid feed pump 13 is supplied and air supply flow channel 14b to which air from air pump 15 is supplied are formed inside two-fluid nozzle 12 (see
Further, mixing space 14c for mixing a liquid from liquid supply flow channel 14a with air from air supply flow channel 14b to atomize the liquid is formed inside two-fluid nozzle 12 (see
Liquid supply flow channel 14a inside two-fluid nozzle 12 and tank 11 communicate by liquid tube 21, and liquid feed pump 13 is disposed in the middle of liquid tube 21.
Tank 11 is, for example, a bag-shaped container (a pouch) formed of a flexible laminate film. Liquid feed pump 13 is, for example, a tube pump that feeds a liquid by sandwiching liquid tube 21 between a roller and a base. Further, liquid feed pump 13 can perform reverse rotation in addition to forward rotation.
On the other hand, air supply flow channel 14b inside two-fluid nozzle 12 and air pump 15 communicate by air tube 22.
Then, a liquid mixed and atomized (a mist) in mixing space 14c inside two-fluid nozzle 12 is sprayed from mist ejection port 14d (see
[2. Operation]
Basic operation of hair care device 1A configured as described above will be described.
When a user turns on sliding power switch 5, electric power is supplied to control unit 20 through power cord 6, and control unit 20 is driven.
Driven control unit 20 causes a current to flow through a drive motor (a liquid feed pump drive motor) that drives liquid feed pump 13 and a drive motor (an air pump drive motor) that drives air pump 15. By supplying a current to these drive motors, a liquid in tank 11 is supplied to two-fluid nozzle 12, and air is supplied from air pump 15 to two-fluid nozzle 12. As a result, the liquid is atomized in two-fluid nozzle 12 and discharged from two-fluid nozzle 12 as a mist of a hair care agent containing an oil, a medical agent, and the like (see
Further, in a case where power switch 5 is turned on, electric power is supplied to motor 8 and heater 9, and motor 8 is rotationally driven, whereby fan 7 is rotated to form an air flow. Specifically, when air flowing into air blow flow channel 3a from an outside through suction port 4a passes through air blow flow channel 3a and is discharged from discharge port 4b to the outside, the air flow is formed. Further, when electric power is supplied to heater 9, the air blown by fan 7 is heated, blown out as warm air from warm air discharge port 4c to the outside, and supplied to user's hair. At this time, as described above, the mist discharged from mist discharge port 4d to the outside is supplied to the user's hair along with the air flow discharged from discharge port 4b to the outside.
In hair care device 1A according to the present exemplary embodiment, heater 9 (air blow flow channel 3a) is disposed inside housing 2, and spray 10 (branch flow channel 3b) is disposed on a lower side of heater 9 (air blow flow channel 3a) in view of the orientation during use of hair care device 1A illustrated in
As illustrated in
Therefore, by disposing spray 10 on the lower side of heater 9, hair care device 1A can suppress mixing of the mist that tends to fall due to gravity with the warm air, and can prevent a flying mist from being heated by the warm air.
[Operation Control of Spray]
As illustrated in
On the other hand, when heater 9 is on, spray 10 is turned off, and a mist is not sprayed from spray 10.
In other words, in the present exemplary embodiment, heater 9 is controlled such that a temperature of warm air discharged from air blow flow channel 3a is lower when spray 10 performs spray operation than when spray 10 does not perform the spray operation.
By controlling on and off of heater 9 and spray 10 in this manner, hair care device 1A can prevent the flying mist from being heated by the warm air even when the user moves hair care device 1A greatly.
Both the time during which spray 10 is on and the time during which spray 10 is off are, for example, 3 seconds to 10 seconds.
