This invention relates to belt with carrying cases.
In a general sense, belts with varying carrying cases are known in the art.
In at least one embodiment of the present invention an apparatus is provided including a belt; and a flap; wherein the flap is configured to be attached to the belt so that the flap covers a rear end of a person, when the belt is worn around a waist of the person. The flap may be thought of as a modesty flap or a conservative flap, which allows a person to cover at least a rear end and upper legs region of the person, when the person is wearing shorts, or for example, a bikini bottom. The flap may also be used to provide a covering, to retain heat or keep warm, for someone who is wearing shorts, or for example a bikini bottom, when the weather turns cold.
The apparatus may further include a first pouch, configured to be attached and detached to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the first pouch is attached to the belt; and wherein an inner chamber of the first pouch can be accessed while the first pouch is attached to the belt.
The apparatus may further include a second pouch, configured to be attached and detached to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the second pouch and the first pouch are both attached to the belt; and wherein an inner chamber of the second pouch can be accessed while the second pouch is attached to the belt.
The apparatus may further include a towel configured to be attached and detached to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the towel is attached to the belt. In at least one embodiment the towel is configured to be attached and detached to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the towel, first pouch, and the second pouch are attached to the belt.
In at least one embodiment a method is provided which includes attaching a flap to a belt so that the flap covers a rear end of a person, when the belt is worn around a waist of the person.
The method may further include attaching a first pouch to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the first pouch is attached to the belt; and wherein an inner chamber of the first pouch can be accessed while the first pouch is attached to the belt.
The method may further include attaching a second pouch to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the second pouch is attached to the belt; and wherein an inner chamber of the second pouch can be accessed while the second pouch is attached to the belt. The method may further include attaching a towel to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the towel is attached to the belt. The method may further include attaching a towel to the belt so that a majority of the flap can be seen when the towel, the first pouch, and the second pouch are attached to the belt.
The apparatus 1 includes a belt 2, a washcloth, hand towel, or towel 4, a pouch 6, a pouch 8, and a flap 10.
In at least one embodiment, loops or rings 8a and 8b are provided. An outside surface of each of loops or rings 8a and 8b may be fixed to an outside surface of pouch 8, and the belt 2 may pass through the loops or rings 8a and 8b, as shown by the combination of
In at least one embodiment, loops or rings 6a and 6b are provided. An outside surface of each of loops or rings 6a and 6b may be fixed to an outside surface of pouch 6, and the belt 2 may pass through the loops or rings 6a and 6b, as shown by the combination of
The washcloth, hand towel or towel 4 may be attached to a portion of the belt 2 by one or more attachment devices, such as Velcro (trademarked) and/or a hooks and/or loops portion on a surface of the washcloth, hand towel or towel 4, which attached to Velcro (trademarked) and/or a mating loops and/or hooks portion on the belt 2, and shown by the combination of
The flap 10 may be attached to outer surfaces of the loops or rings 6a, 6b, 8a and 8b, which are opposite the surfaces which attach to the pouches 6 and 8, as shown by the combination of
The belt 2 may be made of intertwined rope, or nylon webbing, for example, and may have an outer surface 2a shown in
The flap 10 is configured to be able to extend of a rear end, buttocks, and/or upper back leg area of the person 100, in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
The flap 10 may be a towel, which may have a lycra, spandex, or elastic polyurethane fiber or fabric, typically close fitting and used for sports activities, top surface 10a shown in
The pouch 6 may have a lycra, spandex, or elastic polyurethane fiber or fabric, typically close fitting and used for sports activities outer shell on surface 6c shown in
The pouch 8 may be configured to hold a cell phone or smart phone. The pouch 8 may have a lycra, spandex, or elastic polyurethane fiber or fabric, typically close fitting and used for sports activities outer shell on surface 8c shown in
The belt 2 may be made of intertwined rope or nylon webbing.
The material for components 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 may be changed to shrink together when washed. Also the towel or flap 10, in at least one embodiment, has a liquid impervious liner between the top shell or surface 10a and the bottom shell or surface 10b to provide a water barrier for beach goers to keep bottom shell or surface 10b dry.
The flap 10 may be attached to the belt 2 by mating Velcro (trademarked) portions and/or hooks and/or loops on the belt 2 and the flap 10 so that the flap 10 is detachable from the belt 2. Similarly, or identically, the washcloth 4 may be attached to the belt 2 by mating Velcro (trademarked) portions and/or hooks and/or loops on the belt 2 and the flap 10 so that the flap 10 is detachable from the belt 2.
