Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to the field of golf. More specifically, the present invention relates to a belt storage device for golfers with a body made from a lightweight material that may be attached to the belt or waistband of a golfer, wherein the device may receive a golf glove, a tee, and a divot repair tool. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices, and methods of manufacture.

BACKGROUND

Golfers typically place all their belongings in a golf bag during a round of golf. Golf bags are also used to store items in a plurality of different pockets or attachments. However, this has increased the size of many golf bags to the point in which some smaller items may be difficult to find within a golf bag. Further, a golf bag is often left in a golf cart when a golfer goes to either the tee box or a green, leaving many of the items within the bag an inconvenient distance away. By attempting to place some of these items into a pants pocket to overcome this problem, said items may affect the swing of a golfer which is undesirable.

Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a device that can carry many of the accessories commonly used in the game of golf. More specifically, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a belt storage device for golfers that can be attached to the belt or waistband of a golfer and that remains out of the way during the swinging motion of a golf club. Furthermore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a belt storage device for golfers that can carry the necessary golf accessories on a golfer's person when moving away from a golf cart to a tee box or a green on the golf course.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a belt storage device for golfers. The device is comprised of a body that is generally rectangular in shape and is preferably made from a plastic or lightweight metal material. The front surface of the body is comprised of three fasteners that may be used to attach a golf glove, a tee, and a divot repair tool to the device. The rear surface of the body is comprised of a fastener that may attach to the belt or waistband of a golfer. A pocket of the device also allows for other items, such as money or credit cards, to be secured within the device.

In this manner, the belt storage device for golfers of the present invention accomplishes all the foregoing objectives and provides a device that can store and hold many accessories typically used during the game of golf. More specifically, the belt storage device for golfers can attach to the belt or waistband of a golfer in such a way that the device does not interfere with the natural swinging motion of a golf club. Furthermore, the belt storage device for golfers can hold all necessary golf accessories when moving to a tee box or green during the game.
