Abstract
The Bespoke Custom Cup Bra system allows the wearer to achieve a custom fit via joining asymmetric or symmetric cup sizes using a zipper bridge or a fixed bridge with or without zipper cups. The joining of the bra halves not only allows for a custom fit for asymmetric wearers, but it also allows the wearer to join asymmetric/symmetric bra halves of different colors or materials together, creating a unique fit and look for the wearer.
Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to bras that can be customized for sizing and fashion requirements of the wearer.

BACKGROUND

Studies show that 65-88 percent of women have asymmetric breast. Many of these cases do not pose a medical threat. However, for women with asymmetric breast (includes all cup sizes) wearing a symmetric bra, can lead to improper fit for the wearer. For example, a single breast may spill out of the bra while the other breast fits perfectly. Other issues include general discomfort and potential psychological impact due to undesired outward appearance.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The Bespoke Custom Cup Bra invention allows for customizations regarding the fit and design of the bra. This is accomplished by joining two dispirit bra halves together via a fixed bridge, zippered bridge and/or zippered cups using a fixed or zippered bridge. The joining of the dispirit bra halves provides the wearer with a customized fitting bra when asymmetry is present. A wearer with symmetric breast who may not need dispirit cup sizes can join two halves of the bra together comprised of different colors, and materials yielding a semi-unique design configuration.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Some embodiments of the present invention are illustrated as an example and are not limited by the figures of the accompanying drawings, in which like references may indicate similar elements and in which:

FIG. 1 depicts the front view of the fixed bridge symmetric or asymmetric Bespoke Custom Cup Bra.

FIG. 2 depicts the same elements of FIG. 1, for the back view.

FIG. 3 depicts the front view of the asymmetric or symmetric zippered bridge. FIG. 3 element 9 shows a zipper security flap.

FIG. 4 depicts the back view of the asymmetric or symmetric zippered bridge. FIG. 4 element 10 shows the hook and loop fastening system for the zippered bridge.

FIG. 5 depicts the front view of the fixed bridge with zippered symmetric or asymmetric cups. FIG. 5 element 9 shows a zipper security flap.

FIG. 6 depicts the back view of the fixed bridge with zippered symmetric or asymmetric cups.

FIG. 7 depicts the front view of the asymmetric or symmetric zippered cups and zippered bridge with a security flap for all zippers.

FIG. 8 depicts the back view of the asymmetric or symmetric zippered cups and bridge with a zipper security flap for all zippers.

FIG. 9 shows the front view of the bra halves in an unzipped and unhooked state with zippered cups.

FIG. 10 element 15 is an exploded view of the zipper cup detached from the zipper bra frame.

FIG. 11 element 15 is an exploded side view of the zipper cup detached from the zipper bra frame.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. As used herein, the term “and/or” includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items. As used herein, the singular forms, “a,” “an,” and “the” are intended to include the plural forms as well as the singular forms, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. It will be further understood that the terms “comprise”, “comprised” and/or “comprising,” when used in this specification, specify the presence of stated features, elements, and/or components, but do not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, elements, components, and/or groups thereof.

Unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one having ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. It will be further understood that terms, such as those defined in commonly used dictionaries, should be interpreted as having a meaning that is consistent with their meaning in the context of the relevant art and the present disclosure and will not be interpreted in an idealized or overly formal sense unless expressly so define herein.

In describing the invention, it will be understood that a number of techniques and configurations are disclosed. Each of these has individual benefit and each can also be used in conjunction with one or more, or in some cases all, of the other disclosed techniques and configurations. Accordingly, for the sake of clarity, this description will refrain from repeating every possible combination of the individual configurations in an unnecessary fashion. Nevertheless, the specification and claims should be read with the understanding that such combinations are entirely within the scope of the invention and the claims.

The Bespoke Custom Cup Bra is comprised of textile materials including but not limited to the following: Cotton, Spandex, Lace, Leather, Polyester, Linen, Broadcloth, Twill weaves, Tricot, Spanette, Lates, Microfiber, Satin, Jacquard, Foam, Mesh, and all other synthetic, Nylon or metal zippers (with fabric flaps that conceal the zipper teeth), Nylon or metal zippers (without fabric flaps) and Locking and non-locking zippers.

The structural elements of The Bespoke Custom Bra include the following but not limited: Metal clasp back connection, Metal clasp front connection, Plastic/composite clasp back connection, Plastic/composite clasp front connection, Sewn non clasp back, Sewn non clasp front cup join and other synthetic materials that could be used to join the front and back of the bra. The cups will consist of Underwire cups made of plastics, metal, or resin. The cups can be padded or non-padded, non-underwire cups, Contour cups, Cut & sew cups, Demi cups, Full cups, ¾ cups, ½ cups, Minimizer cups, multi-part cups Push-up cups, Seamless cups, Soft cups, Support sling/panel cups, Strapless cups can be zipped in from the outside or the inside of the bra using nylon or metal zippers (used to fasten each individual cup to The Bespoke Custom Cup bra). Zipper pockets for all zippers and a hook and loop system to re-enforce the front bridge zipper. The Bespoke Custom Cup Bra will encompass all band sizes and cup sizes ranging from A-K

Additionally, while the Bespoke Custom Cup Bra functionally addresses and helps women with asymmetric breast it also has a fashion component for both asymmetric and symmetric wearers. The fashion components allow the joining of two disparate bra halves together that may be different in color, size, and/or material to create a semi-unique design configuration.
