Abstract
The technical disclosure of “Between Cutz” consists of a hair trimming guide weighing no more than several ounces of polymer injected molded plastic. The guide has removable temples (the same type of pieces that are on eyeglasses that you put over your ears to secure them to your face) that allow for easy storage and portability of the device. It is a basic device that is just that, basic. The color of the device will be either a royal blue or dark gray so it will differentiate from ones own natural hair color.
Description

The item listed above, “Between Cutz”, is a basic apparatus that I made for the purpose of the assistance of removal of excess neck hair growth. It is a rosin plastic injected molded apparatus that you place on the back of your head and over your ears with the use of the temples, which protects the hair on the back of your head but not the area on the neck where the excess hair grows in after several weeks after a fresh haircut. You then use a clipper or buzzer and guide the blades of the clipper across the bottom of the apparatus that allows you to buzz off the excess hair in a straight line without ruining the hair on the back of your head.

According the drawings submitted Apr. 22, 2017, the device is 6.38″ wide at the front with a height of 2.75″ and a depth of 5.72″. It may vary in color, but the main color will more than likely be a royal blue or black. The weight of the apparatus has yet to be weighed, but will only be several ounces.

The advantage of using this product is that any person who acquires a “Between Cutz” apparatus will no longer have to go to the salon or barber just to have their neck shaved clean. They can do it themselves in the privacy of their own home.

A person can actually go several months without getting a haircut, but there is no way a person can go that long without shaving their neck.

The background of the invention is pretty simple. I was wondering one day if there was a device on the market that could do what I envisioned for the removal of excess neck hair. There wasn't. So I took of piece of cardboard and cut it to the shape of the current design. Then I took a pair of broken glasses and removed the temples from them. Then I taped them with duct tape to the piece of cardboard I had already cut and tapered. Hence, the idea was in place for further investigation.

A brief summary of the invention is that it is a device that will assist a person with the removal of excess neck hair growth that takes several seconds to complete the procedure. It is very lightweight and quite easy to use in the self-grooming task.

The claim for the scope of the protection of the patent is that this is the only device of its kind for the purpose in which I came up with the idea to further proceed with the production and manufacture of the apparatus.
