The present invention pertains to a beverage bottle for simultaneously dispensing three beverages without mixing the beverages inside the bottle.
A number of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are enjoyed when mixed together. For example, a shandy is beer mixed with a soft drink. A mimosa is Champagne mixed with orange juice. Examples of beverages comprising two or more ingredients are numerous.
A novel way to drink such beverages is without pre mixing them either in a glass or bottle, such that numerous beverages hit the palate simultaneously. This creates a unique taste sensation that cannot be matched by consuming pre mixed beverages. Many consumers may find drinking beverages in this fashion superior to the conventional way of drinking.
It is also desirable for a bottle to have visual interest in order to attract consumers. It is also desirable to agitate some beverages while pouring them out of a bottle.
What is needed, therefore, is a beverage bottle for simultaneously dispensing three beverages without mixing the beverages inside the bottle, while at the same time providing visual interest and agitating beverages while pouring them out of the bottle directly into the mouth and onto the tongue.
The present invention satisfies this need. The beverage bottle according to this invention comprises a cylindrical or rectangular body with a spiral-shape divider disposed vertically inside the beverage bottle, forming three compartments defining spiral paths for the beverages through the bottle and preventing the beverages from mixing inside the bottle.
This invention will be better understood with the reference to
Viewing, simultaneously,
Numeral 50 indicates a triple divider. Triple divider 50 is disposed vertically inside beverage bottle 10, forming a first compartment indicated by numeral 60, a second compartment indicated by numeral 70 and a third compartment indicated by numeral 80.
Triple divider 50 comprises a three-point star cross section and spiral-shape surfaces. Triple divider 50 also comprises a triple upper edge indicated by numeral 50a. Triple upper edge 50a is disposed flush with open top 40a.
First compartment 60 holds a first beverage, for example Champagne, and dispenses Champagne through threaded neck 40. Second compartment 70 holds a second beverage, for example orange juice, and dispenses orange juice through threaded neck 40. Third compartment 80 holds a third beverage, for example vodka, and dispenses vodka through threaded neck 40.
Triple divider 50 defines spiral paths for Champagne, orange juice and vodka within beverage bottle 10, thus creating visual interest and also agitating Champagne, orange juice and vodka as they flow through the spiral paths.
Triple Divider 50 prevents fluid communication between first, second and third compartments 60, 70, and 80, therefore, Champagne, orange juice and vodka are not mixed inside beverage bottle 10, but rather hit the palate simultaneously.
Numeral 90 indicates a threaded cap. Threaded cap 90 is rotably secured to threaded neck 40 (i.e. it is twisted upon it), thus sealing open top 40a.
Numeral 100 indicates a pliable membrane. Pliable membrane 100 is disposed between triple upper edge 50a and threaded cap 90. Threaded cap 90 impinges upon pliable membrane 100, thus sealing beverage bottle 10. In the preferred embodiment, pliable membrane 100 further comprises a three-pointed star shaped groove indicated by numeral 100a. Three-pointed star shaped groove 100a snugly receives triple upper edge 50a.
While the present invention has been described and defined by reference to the preferred embodiment of the invention, such reference does not imply a limitation on the invention, and no such limitation is to be inferred. The invention is capable of considerable modification, alteration, and equivalents in form and function, as will occur to those ordinarily skilled and knowledgeable in the pertinent arts. The depicted and described preferred embodiment of the invention is exemplary only, and is not exhaustive of the scope of the invention. Consequently, the invention is intended to be limited only by the spirit and scope of the appended claims, giving full cognizance to equivalents in all respects.
