Abstract
An article of manufacture for providing a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles is disclosed. The beverage cooler carrier is constructed using a bottom section, middle section, stopper, cup, and cover. The cooler carrier maintains the temperature of the bottle while allowing it to be transported without spillage. The beverage cooler carrier may also have a removable strap to allow it to be worn by a user.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

This application relates in general to an article of manufacture for providing a personal beverage carrier, and more specifically, to an article of manufacture for a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles.


BACKGROUND

Standard wine carriers are not adequate at keeping a bottle at the proper temperature and are not usable once the bottle has been opened. Removing a bottle, such as champagne, from a carrier will cause the bottle to become too warm for drinking. Individuals are often unable to transport their bottled beverages due to these limitations. Once a bottle is opened, it does not travel to its next destination without spillage. This makes carrying a bottle to an event, picnic, or other destination difficult.


Therefore, a need exists because a standard wine/champagne carrier is not adequate at keeping a bottle at the proper temperature and is not usable once the bottle has been opened.


SUMMARY

In accordance with the present invention, the above and other problems are solved by providing an article of manufacture for a personal beverage carrier, and more specifically, to an article of manufacture for a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the principles and example embodiments disclosed herein.


In one embodiment, the present invention is an article of manufacture for providing a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles. The carrier cooler is constructed using a bottom section, middle section, stopper, cup, and cover. The beverage cooler carrier may also have a removable strap to allow it to be worn by a user.


The carrier cooler has a bottom section having an opening for insertion of a wine bottle and an inner coupling mechanism, a middle section, a stopper having an inner stopper coupling mechanism for insertion into the neck of the wind bottle creating an air-tight seal for the contents of the wine bottle, a drinking cup configured to fit over the stopper when inserted into the wine bottle, and a cover having a sealing coupling mechanism for coupling the cover to the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section. The middle section includes an outer covering having an inner opening for covering a top portion of the wine bottle and a top opening allowing a neck of the wine bottle to pass through the middle section, a bottom coupling mechanism along a bottom edge for connecting the middle section to the bottom section and retaining the wine bottle, and an upper coupling mechanism. The cover completely encases the wine bottle when the cover is coupled to the middle section.


In another aspect of the present disclosure the cooler carrier also includes The carrier may comprise a strap made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, leather, common polymers, naturally occurring materials and the like while the strap may comprise one or more attachments made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, metals, common polymers, gemstones and other naturally occurring substances.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the bottom coupling mechanism of the middle section and the inner coupling mechanism of the bottom section comprise a first set of mating threads configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the bottom coupling mechanism of the middle section and the inner coupling mechanism of the bottom section comprise a first set of mating magnets configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover comprising a second set of mating threads configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover comprising a second set of mating magnets configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover conceal the cup within the over when the cup is placed on top the stopper.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the stopper coupling mechanism comprises one or more sealing layers for engaging inner walls of the neck of the wine bottle creating an air-tight seal.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the bottom section further comprises a plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation to the bottle when inserted into the bottom section.


In yet another aspect of the present disclosure, the middle section further comprises an inner plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation for surrounding the wine bottle when inserted through the middle section.


The foregoing has outlined rather broadly the features and technical advantages of the present invention in order that the detailed description of the invention that follows may be better understood. Additional features and advantages of the invention will be described hereinafter that form the subject of the claims of the invention.


It should be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the conception and specific embodiment disclosed may be readily utilized as a basis for modifying or designing other structures for carrying out the same purposes of the present invention. It should also be realized by those skilled in the art that such equivalent constructions do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims. The novel features that are believed to be characteristic of the invention, both as to its organization and method of operation, together with further objects and advantages will be better understood from the following description when considered in connection with the accompanying figures. It is to be expressly understood, however, that each of the figures is provided for the purpose of illustration and description only, and is not intended as a definition of the limits of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

This application relates in general to a system and method for providing a personal protection device, and more specifically, to an article of manufacture for providing a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention.


Various embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals represent like parts and assemblies throughout the several views. Reference to various embodiments does not limit the scope of the invention, which is limited only by the scope of the claims attached hereto. Additionally, any examples set forth in this specification are not intended to be limiting and merely set forth some of the many possible embodiments for the claimed invention.


In describing embodiments of the present invention, the following terminology will be used. The singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” include plural referents unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Thus, for example, reference to “a needle” includes reference to one or more of such needles and “etching” includes one or more of such steps. As used herein, a plurality of items, structural elements, compositional elements, and/or materials may be presented in a common list for convenience. However, these lists should be construed as though each member of the list is individually identified as a separate and unique member. Thus, no individual member of such list should be construed as a de facto equivalent of any other member of the same list solely based on their presentation in a common group without indications to the contrary. As used herein, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.


It further will be understood that the terms “comprises,” “comprising,” “includes,” and “including” specify the presence of stated features, steps or components, but do not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps or components. The terms “customer,” and “user” refer to an entity, e.g. a human, using the Beverage Carrier Cooler associated with the invention. The term user herein refers to one or more users.


The term “invention” or “present invention” refers to the invention being applied for via the patent application with the title “Beverage Carrier Cooler.” Invention may be used interchangeably with carrier cooler.


In general, the present disclosure relates to an article of manufacture for a personal beverage carrier, and more specifically, to an article of manufacture for a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles. To better understand the present invention, FIG. 1 illustrates an example embodiment for a beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention. A beverage cooler carrier 100 is provided for a beverage bottle 101 that keeps the bottle cold, while also allowing the bottle to be transported without spillage after it has been opened.


The carrier also includes a plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation to the bottle contained therein. The carrier may comprise a strap made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, leather, common polymers, naturally occurring materials and the like while the strap may comprise one or more attachments made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, metals, common polymers, gemstones and other naturally occurring substances.


The carrier 100 comprises a plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation to the bottle 101 contained therein. The carrier 100 may comprise a strap 120 made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, leather, common polymers, naturally occurring materials, and the like while the strap may comprise one or more attachments made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, metals, common polymers, gemstones and other naturally occurring substances.


The carrier 100 further comprises a bottom section 110 structured to securely hold the bottle 101 in place and comprises a middle section 111 that couples to the bottom section 110 via any suitable means 111b including, but not limited to, screw threads, magnets, clasps, buckles, snaps, straps, adhesives, and the like. The carrier 100 may comprise a stopper 113 shaped to seal the bottle once it is opened. The carrier further comprises a top section 114 having a lid which may be multipurposed as a beverage glass. The strap 120 may be attached to one or more of any of the bottom, middle and/or top sections of the carrier to allow for hands-free transportation of the bottle.



FIG. 2 illustrates an example embodiment for a beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention. In this embodiment, FIG. 2 shows the carrier 100 without a strap 120, or having the strap 120 disconnected from attachment rings 121 that are coupled to the bottom part 110 of the carrier 100. The bottle 101 is shown protruding from a top side of the middle section 111 while having the stopper 113 attached to the top of the bottle 101.


The lid 114 has a stopper 112 and a cup 113 that goes over it. Once a cork comes out of a champagne bottle 101, the user cannot typically reinsert the cork back into the bottle 101. The stopper 112 includes an internal sealing stopper that may be inserted into the neck of the champagne bottle to create an air-tight seal for the remaining contents of the bottle. The present invention addresses limitation in prior art solutions in that the user may travel with the bottle 101 once it has been opened without spilling. The cup 114 cover allows you to have a beverage container readily available.



FIGS. 3a-b illustrate example embodiments of exploded component views for an article of manufacture for a beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention. FIG. 3a shows the carrier 100 while the device is open for use in dispensing the beverage from the bottle 101. In contrast, FIG. 3b shows the components as they are arranged when the carrier 101 is combined into a single, closed device. The main difference is that the cup 112 is oriented to fit over the top of the bottle 101 as the top cap is attached to close the carrier 100. The beverage cooler carrier is made up of a bottom section 110, middle section 111, stopper 112, cup 113, and cover 114.


The middle section 111 has a top coupling mechanism 111a that connects to a stopper coupling mechanism 112a of the stopper 112. The middle section 111 also has a bottom coupling mechanism 111b that connects to the bottom section coupling mechanism 110a. The middle section 111 has an inner opening about its top side that permits the bottle 101 to pass through the top coupling mechanism 111a and the stopper 112. The top coupling mechanism 111a, the stopper coupling mechanism 112a, the bottom coupling mechanism 111b, and the bottom section coupling mechanism 110a all may be constructed using a suitable coupling means including, but not limited to, screw threads, magnets, clasps, buckles, snaps, straps, adhesives, and the like.



FIG. 4 illustrates an example embodiment for a user wearing a beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention. FIG. 4 shows the beverage cooler carrier 100 being worn by a user in a closed configuration. The bottle 101 is worn using the strap 120 with its length adjusted to position the bottle 101 at a comfortable position on the user.



FIG. 5 illustrates another example embodiment for a user wearing a beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles according to the present invention. FIG. 5 shows the beverage carrier cooler 100 being worn by the user while enjoying a beverage in the cup 113.


Even though particular combinations of features are recited in the present application, these combinations are not intended to limit the disclosure of the invention. In fact, many of these features may be combined in ways not specifically recited in this application. In other words, any of the features mentioned in this application may be included to this new invention in any combination or combinations to allow the functionality required for the desired operations.


No element, act, or instruction used in the present application should be construed as critical or essential to the invention unless explicitly described as such. Further, the phrase “based on” is intended to mean “based, at least in part, on” unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any singular term used in this present patent application is applicable to its plural form even if the singular form of any term is used.

Claims
  • 1. An article of manufacture for a personal beverage carrier, and more specifically, an article of manufacture for a wearable beverage carrier cooler for wine and champagne bottles, the article comprises: a bottom section having an opening for insertion of a wine bottle and an inner coupling mechanism;a middle section, the middle section comprises: an outer covering having an inner opening for covering a top portion of the wine bottle and a top opening allowing a neck of the wine bottle to pass through the middle section;a bottom coupling mechanism along a bottom edge for connecting the middle section to the bottom section and retaining the wine bottle; andan upper coupling mechanism;a stopper having an inner stopper coupling mechanism for insertion into the neck of the wind bottle creating an air-tight seal for the contents of the wine bottle;a drinking cup configured to fit over the stopper when inserted into the wine bottle; anda cover having a sealing coupling mechanism for coupling the cover to the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section, the cover completely encases the wine bottle when the cover is coupled to the middle section.
  • 2. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the article further comprises an adjustable strap for wearing the beverage carrier cooler, the strap is made from any suitable material such comprises one or more materials comprising leather, common polymers, naturally occurring materials; and the strap may also comprise one or more attachments made from any suitable material such as, but not limited to, metals, common polymers, gemstones and other naturally occurring substances.
  • 3. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the bottom coupling mechanism of the middle section and the inner coupling mechanism of the bottom section comprise a first set of mating threads configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.
  • 4. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the bottom coupling mechanism of the middle section and the inner coupling mechanism of the bottom section comprise a first set of mating magnets configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.
  • 5. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover comprising a second set of mating threads configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.
  • 6. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover comprising a second set of mating magnets configured to engage each other while the wine bottle is contained therein.
  • 7. The article of manufacture according to claim 4, wherein the upper coupling mechanism of the middle section and the sealing coupling mechanism of the cover conceal the cup within the over when the cup is placed on top the stopper.
  • 8. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the stopper coupling mechanism comprises one or more sealing layers for engaging inner walls of the neck of the wine bottle creating an air-tight seal.
  • 9. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the bottom section further comprises a plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation to the bottle when inserted into the bottom section.
  • 10. The article of manufacture according to claim 1, wherein the middle section further comprises an inner plurality of layers of lightweight aluminum or similar insulative lightweight metal substance which may be vacuum insulated to provide a substantially zero-heat coefficient insulation for surrounding the wine bottle when inserted through the middle section.
