Claims
- 1. A beverage container comprising:
a body member having a base, a side surface, an upper end, and an interior volume formed from the base and the side surface; a lid member having a drinking aperture, wherein the lid member is configured to attach to the upper end of the body member in only a single orientation; and a first orientation indicator disposed on the side surface of the body member.
- 2. The beverage container of claim 1, wherein the first orientation indicator comprises a depression in the side surface of the body member.
- 3. The beverage container of claim 2, wherein the depression is elongated and extends from an area below the upper end of the body member toward the base of the body member.
- 4. The beverage container of claim 3, wherein the depression is substantially aligned with a point on the circumference of the lid member nearest the drinking aperture when the lid is attached to the body member.
- 5. The beverage container of claim 1, further comprising a second orientation indicator disposed on the lid member.
- 6. The beverage container of claim 5, wherein the lid member comprises:
a vertical ridge around at least a portion of the perimeter of the lid adjacent the drinking aperture, wherein the second orientation indicator comprises a vertical depression in the vertical ridge.
- 7. The beverage container of claim 6, wherein the base of the body member has a substantially circular cross-section, and the upper end of the body member has a substantially reniform perimeter profile.
- 8. The beverage container of claim 6, wherein the base of the body member has a substantially circular cross section, and the upper end of the body member has a substantially elliptical perimeter profile.
- 9. A beverage container comprising:
an inner container member having an upper end; an outer member having a base, a side surface, and an upper end; a lid member having a drinking aperture, wherein the lid member is configured to attach to the upper end of the inner container member in only a single orientation; and a first orientation indicator disposed on the side surface of the outer member, wherein at least a portion of the inner container member is configured to fit within the outer member and the inner container member is attached to the outer member.
- 10. The beverage container of claim 9, wherein the inner container member includes a perimeter flange and the outer member includes a perimeter notch, wherein the perimeter flange engages the perimeter notch for attaching the inner container member to the outer member.
- 11. The beverage container of claim 9, wherein the first orientation indicator comprises a depression in the side surface of the outer member.
- 12. The beverage container of claim 11, wherein the depression is elongated and extends from the upper end of the outer member toward the base of the outer member.
- 13. The beverage container of claim 12, wherein the depression is substantially aligned with a point on the circumference of the lid member nearest the drinking aperture when the lid is attached to the inner container member.
- 14. The beverage container of claim 9, further comprising a second orientation indicator disposed on the lid member.
- 15. The beverage container of claim 14, wherein the lid member comprises:
a vertical ridge around at least a portion of the perimeter of the lid adjacent the drinking aperture, wherein the second orientation indicator comprises a vertical depression in the vertical ridge.
- 16. The beverage container of claim 15 wherein the base of the outer member has a substantially circular cross section and the upper end of the inner member has a substantially reniform perimeter profile.
- 17. The beverage container of claim 15 wherein the base of the outer member has a substantially circular cross section and the upper end of the inner member has a substantially elliptical perimeter profile.
- 18. The beverage container of claim 15, further comprising an advertisement medium disposed between the inner container member and the outer member.
- 19. The beverage container of claim 9, wherein the inner container member includes an alignment projection and the lid member includes a receiving area, wherein the alignment projection and the receiving area are configured to ensure that the lid member attaches to the body member in only a single orientation.
- 20. A beverage container comprising:
an inner container member having an upper end; a transparent outer member having a base, a side surface, and an upper end, wherein the inner container member is configured to fit within and be attached to the outer member; a lid member having a drinking aperture, wherein the lid member is configured to attach to the upper end of the inner container member in only a single orientation; wherein the outer member includes an elongated depression extending from a point near the top of the outer member towards the base of the outer member, wherein the base has a substantially circular cross-sectional profile, wherein the upper end of the inner container member has a substantially elliptical cross-sectional profile; wherein the lid further comprises a vertical ridge around at least a portion of the perimeter of the lid adjacent the drinking aperture, wherein the vertical ridge includes a vertical depression in a location nearest the drinking aperture.
