Claims
- 1. A beverage mixer device, comprising:
a) a base including a motor turning a drive mechanism extending therefrom; b) a container, removably disposable on the base, including a mixing assembly rotatably disposed therein and engagable by the drive mechanism when the container is disposed on the base; c) a spout, operatively coupled to the container, to dispense contents thereof, and having an outlet opening; d) a valve, associated with the spout, operable to allow and restrict contents of the container through the spout; e) an actuator, associated with the spout and operatively coupled to the valve, to actuate the valve; and f) a beverage cup accommodation indentation including an indentation configuration of the base, positioned under the outlet opening of the spout so that when the container is disposed on the base a beverage cup can be more conveniently placed adjacent the spout in the indentation, and extending into the base to reduce a length of the spout to reduce frictional loses of contents flowing through the spout.
- 2. A device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the base includes a perimeter base wall extending around and defining a perimeter of the base; and wherein the indentation is formed in a perimeter of the base by the perimeter base wall.
- 3. A device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the indentation extends horizontally into the base and is formed by a vertically oriented portion of a perimeter base wall.
- 4. A device in accordance with claim 3, wherein the vertically oriented portion of the perimeter base wall extends from a top of the indentation proximate the spout when the container is disposed on the base to a bottom of the indentation proximate a bottom of the base.
- 5. A device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the spout has a proximal end operatively coupled to the container and extends therefrom to an opposite distal end, the outlet opening being positioned at the distal end; and wherein the actuator is positioned at the distal end of the spout.
- 6. A device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the valve is disposed at the distal end of the spout.
- 7. A device in accordance with claim 1, further comprising:
at least one protrusion, extending horizontally outward from the base adjacent the indentation.
- 8. A device in accordance with claim 1, further comprising:
means, associated with the base and container, for aligning the spout with the indentation.
- 9. A device in accordance with claim 1, further comprising a cross member extending into an opening of the container leading to the spout.
- 10. A device in accordance with claim 1, further comprising:
a) an air pump, associated with the base; and b) an air line, operatively coupled to and between the air pump and the container, to deliver air from the pump to the container to assist dispensing contents of the container through the spout.
- 11. A device in accordance with claim 1, further comprising:
a) at least one impeller, associated with the mixing assembly in the container; and b) the at least one impeller forming an oblique angle oriented to drive contents of the container towards an opening in the container and out of the spout.
- 12. A beverage mixer device, comprising:
a) a base including a motor turning a drive mechanism extending therefrom; b) a container, removably disposable on the base, including a mixing assembly rotatably disposed therein and engagable by the drive mechanism when the container is disposed on the base, the container forming a substantially air-tight enclosure; c) a spout, operatively coupled to the container; d) an air pump, associated with the base; and e) an air line, operatively coupled to and between the air pump and the enclosure, to deliver air from the pump to the container to assist dispensing contents of the container through the spout.
- 13. A device in accordance with claim 12, wherein the air pump is operatively coupled to and driven by the motor of the base.
- 14. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising:
a check valve, associated with the container and coupled to the air line, configured to allow air into the container while resisting exit of contents of the container into the air line.
- 15. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising a lid couplable to a top of the container and having an aperture extending therethrough; and wherein the air line is coupled to the lid at the aperture.
- 16. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising a stir stick pivotally disposed through a lid couplable to a top of the container, the stir stick having an aperture extending therethrough; and wherein the air line is coupled to the stir stick at the aperture.
- 17. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising a base portion attached to a bottom of the container and having an aperture extending therethrough; and wherein the air line is coupled to the base portion at the aperture.
- 18. A device in accordance with claim 12, wherein a portion of the air line is coupled to the container and another portion of the air line is carried by the container.
- 19. A device in accordance with claim 12, wherein the air pump is selected from a group consisting of a compressor, a blower, and a pump.
- 20. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising a base portion attached to a bottom of the container, and a lid couplable to a top of the container, and wherein the base portion and the lid further form the substantially air-tight enclosure.
- 21. A device in accordance with claim 20, further comprising a stir stick carried by an aperture in the lid and further forming the substantially air-tight enclosure.
- 22. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising a cup indentation formed in the base and positioned under the spout when the container is disposed on the base.
- 23. A device in accordance with claim 12, further comprising:
a) at least one impeller, associated with the mixing assembly in the container; and b) the at least one impeller forming an oblique angle oriented to drive contents of the container towards an opening in the container and out of the spout.
- 24. A beverage mixer device, comprising:
a) a base including a motor turning a drive mechanism extending therefrom; b) a container, removably disposable on the base, including a mixing assembly rotatably disposed therein and engagable by the drive mechanism when the container is disposed on the base, the container having an opening therethrough at a lower end; c) a spout, operatively coupled to the container at the opening; and d) at least one impeller, associated with the mixing assembly in the container; and e) the at least one impeller forming an oblique angle oriented to drive contents of the container towards the opening in the container and out of the spout.
- 25. A device in accordance with claim 24, wherein the impeller includes a horizontally oriented arm, and wherein the arm has the oblique angle oriented to drive contents of the container downwardly to the bottom of the container.
- 26. A device in accordance with claim 24, wherein the impeller includes a vertically inclined arm, and wherein the arm has the oblique angle oriented to drive contents of the container outwardly towards the opening.
- 27. A device in accordance with claim 24, further comprising a cup indentation positioned under the spout when the container is disposed on the base.
- 28. A device in accordance with claim 24, further comprising:
a) an air pump, associated with the base; and b) an air line, operatively coupled to and between the air pump and an enclosure formed by the container, to deliver air from the pump to the container to assist dispensing contents of the container through the spout.
- 29. A beverage mixer device, comprising:
a) a base including a motor turning a drive mechanism extending therefrom; b) a container, disposable on the base, including a mixing assembly rotatably disposed therein and engagable by the drive mechanism when the container is disposed on the base; c) a lid, removably disposed on the container, having an opening; and d) a stir stick, extendable through the opening in the lid and into the container, and to be pivotable with respect to the lid; and e) the container having a circular, conical shape configured to facilitate a vortex action of contents in the container when the mixing assembly is operated, the circular, conical shape of the container having an angular orientation from a vertical axis approximately 10 to 25 degrees; and f) the stir stick being selectively pivotable and configured to disturb the vortex action of the contents in the container when pivoted, the circular, conical shape of the container and the pivotable stir stick cooperating to facilitate mixing of the contents.
