Abstract
The disclosure provides a bib article and methods thereof. The article is configured to shield or cover a front side or a top part of body of a user, the bib article configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and the bib article configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention generally relates to a bib article and methods of making and using the same.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Background information related to the present disclosure as described herein may not constitute prior art.


Traditional bib covers the front, chest section of the body of a user, which often provides insufficient protection, especially in the care of children, e.g., a toddler, or physically compromised adults, e.g., a senile. For example, babies spit up and it usually happens after a nursing mother get dressed for the day. And when it happens, the nursing mother has to find a clean shirt before they run out of the door.


Therefore, there is a need for a new article and design that addresses such issues.


The embodiments described below address such issues or problems.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In one aspect of the present invention, it is provided a bib article, configured to shield or cover a front side or a top part of body of a user,

  • wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and
  • wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the opening comprises adjustable snaps.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is formed of a soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is formed of a disposable material.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is formed of an absorbent material.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and the body is one of a toddler.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user, and wherein the body is one of an adult.

In another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided a method of forming a bib article, comprising:

  • providing a fabric sheet configured to shield or cover a top part of body of a user nursing a baby or toddler, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user,
  • forming an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, and
  • forming the bib article.


In some embodiments of the disclosed method, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the opening further comprises adjustable snaps at neck.


In some embodiments of the disclosed method, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the bib article is formed of a soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.


In some embodiments of the disclosed method, optionally in combination with any of the various embodiments herein, the article is formed of a disposable material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Definitions

As used herein, the term “disposable material” refers to a material that once used can be disposed of.


As used herein, the term “absorbent material” is a material having a per unit capacity of absorbing a watery matter such as water, milk, juice, soup, or another matter of like nature that exceeds one of plain cotton or wool sheet. Such an absorbent material can include an organic or inorganic fibers or particles or compositions that absorbs water, forming hydrogel or another form of hydrated matter, for instance, a PEG resin, corn starch, silica, alumina, zeolite. Such absorbent materials can be dispersed in fibers forming a sheet or form a layer of coating on a barrier sheet (such as a vinyl sheet), with or without a binder.


As used herein, the term “bib article” refers to a protective clothing article for use in nursing a baby. In some embodiments, the term “bib article” is also referred as with the term “Mommabib”, “body bib” or “nursing bib.”


Bib Article

In one aspect of the present invention, it is provided a bib article, configured to shield or cover a front side or a top part of body of a user,

  • wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and
  • wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user.

Nursing Bib

In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided a bib article, configured to shield or cover a top part of body of a user nursing a baby or toddler, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user, wherein the article has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in one or more various embodiments disclosed herein, the opening comprises adjustable snaps.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in one or more various embodiments disclosed herein, the nursing bib is formed of a soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in one or more various embodiments disclosed herein, the nursing bib is formed of a disposable material or an absorbent material.


In some embodiments of the disclosure, optionally in one or more various embodiments disclosed herein, the user is an adult user.

Advantages

The bib article of disclosure is a bib that covers a toddler from chest to ankle and is designed to cover the entire front of the toddler to keep their clothes clean and stain-free.

The bib article of disclosure is easy to slip-on and off. It includes adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit. Additionally, it can be formed of soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.


Benefits

The bib article of disclosure protects toddlers clothes from chest to lap. It prevents stains and ruined clothes. The nursing bib stays in place and works as designed. The bib article protects high chair straps which are very hard to clean. Using the bib article of disclosure would result less laundry for mothers or nursing facilities and allows for quick and easy clean-up of toddler or senile even after even the messiest meal.


Method of Bib Fabrication

In another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided a method of forming a bib article, comprising:

  • providing a fabric sheet configured to shield or cover a top part of body of a user nursing a baby or toddler, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user,
  • forming an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, and
  • forming the bib article.

Advantages

The bib article of invention is a bib that covers a toddler from chest to ankle and is designed to cover the entire front of the toddler to keep their clothes clean and stain-free.

The bib article of invention is easy to slip-on and off. It includes adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit. Additionally, it can be formed of soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.

Examples 5-8: Mommabib (AKA Nursing Bib)


FIGS. 5-8 show embodiments of a nursing bib article of disclosure that was made and used on a toddler. FIG. 5 shows a back view of the nursing bib, 5, with an opening 7, configured for neck. Alternatively, opening 7 can include an adjustable neckband, which can be adjustable hook or loop or magnetic fastener neck closure.



FIG. 6 shows a front view of nursing bib 5, having an open snap, 6, with element 6a, and an opening 7. Element 6a can be adjustable hook or loop or magnetic fastener.

Advantages of the Disclosed Nursing Bib

The MommaBib will help moms to save time and laundry. A baby will spit up on mom every time Mom is ready to walk our t the door. The MommaBib can be configured to fasten at the front for Moms easily and protects her outfit so she can go about her day with no spit up stains or the lovely smell of baby barf on her all day long.


The fabric for the nursing bib 1 can be absorbent so it will catch the spit up and keeps moms clothes clean and fresh.


While the present disclosure has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, it will be appreciated by one of ordinary skill that the spirit and scope of the disclosure is not limited to those embodiments, but extend to the various modifications and equivalents as defined in the appended claims.

  • 1. A bib article, configured to shield or cover a front side or a top part of body of a user, wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user.
  • 2. The bib article according to claim 1, wherein the opening comprises adjustable snaps.
  • 3. The bib article according to claim 1, which is formed of a soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.
  • 4. The bib article according to claim 1, which is formed of a disposable material.
  • 5. The bib article according to claim 1, which is formed of an absorbent material.
  • 6. The bib article according to claim 1, wherein the bib article is configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and wherein the body is one of a toddler.
  • 7. The bib article according to claim 1, wherein the bib article is configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user, and wherein the body is one of an adult.
  • 8. The bib article according to claim 1, which is formed of a disposal material comprising an absorbent material.
  • 9. The bib article according to claim 1, wherein the absorbent material comprises a layer of the absorbent material on a barrier sheet.
  • 10. The bib article according to claim 1, wherein the absorbent material is dispersed in a fibrous sheet.
  • 11. A method of forming a bib article, comprising: providing a fabric sheet configured to shield or cover a top part of body of a user nursing a baby or toddler, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user,forming an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, andforming the bib article.
  • 12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the opening further comprises adjustable snaps at neck.
  • 13. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article is formed of a soft waterproof fabric for comfort and easy cleaning.
  • 14. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article is formed of a disposable material.
  • 15. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article is formed of an absorbent material.
  • 16. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the front side of the body of a user comprises adjustable snaps at neck, wrist, and ankle for proper fit to a size and dimension of the body, and wherein the body is one of a toddler.
  • 17. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article configured to shield or cover the top part of body of user has an opening that fits to a size and dimension of neck of the user, the top part of body being chest, top back, left shoulder and right shoulder of the user, and wherein the body is one of an adult.
  • 18. The method according to claim 11, wherein the bib article is formed of a disposal material comprising an absorbent material.
  • 19. The method according to claim 11, wherein the absorbent material comprises a layer of the absorbent material on a barrier sheet.
  • 20. The method according to claim 11, wherein the absorbent material is dispersed in a fibrous sheet.
