Claims
- 1. A biodisintegrable thermoplastic resin foam of a mixed resin of:
- 5-40 weight % of a thermoplastic resin decomposable by microorganisms, said decomposable resin being an aliphatic polyester selected from the group consisting of polycondensates of an aliphatic polycarboxylic acid with an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol, polycondensates of aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acids, ring-opened polycondensates of lactones, block copolymers of said polycondensates and polyamide and block copolymers of said polycondensates and polyvinyl alcohol; and
- 95-60 weight % of a thermoplastic resin not decomposable by microorganisms,
- said foam being composed of foam having an apparent density of 0.5 g/cm.sup.3.
- 2. A biodisintegrable thermoplastic resin foam according to claim 1, wherein the mixed resin is incorporated with a filler in an amount of 5-80 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the mixed resin.
- 3. The biodisintegrable plastic resin foam of claim 1, wherein said aliphatic polyester is selected from the group consisting of adipic acid esters of ethylene glycol and homopolymers and copolymers of propiolactone, caprolactone and .beta.-hydroxybutyric acid.
