  • 2. A biometric information processing device, comprising: an input unit for obtaining plural pickup images of a part of a living body; anda processing unit for extracting blood vessel patterns from the pickup images of a living body, wherein the processing unit compares a position difference between a first blood vessel pattern, which is obtained from a first of the pickup images, and a second blood pattern, which is obtained from a second of the pickup images, a position difference between the first blood vessel pattern, which is obtained from the first pickup image, and a third blood vessel pattern, which is obtained from a third of the pickup images, and a position difference between the second blood vessel pattern, which is obtained from the second pickup image, and the third blood vessel pattern, which is obtained from the third pickup image, against one another, and registers two of the blood vessel patterns where the position difference is largest as a registration pattern for authentication.
  • 3. The biometric information processing device according to claim 1, further comprising a sensor unit for detecting whether the part of the living body is placed on the placement surface or not, wherein the sensor unit detects whether or not the living body has been lifted from the placement surface after the last registration image candidate is picked up, andwherein the processing unit determines, as a new registration image candidate, an image obtained by picking up light that has been transmitted through the living body placed again after it is judged that the living body is lifted from the placement surface.
  • 4. The biometric information processing device according to claim 1, wherein the processing unit judges whether or not the position of a blood vessel pattern extracted from a picked up image is shifted from the position of a blood vessel pattern extracted from a registration image candidate that is picked up last time, and when it is judged that there is a position difference between the blood vessel patterns, the blood vessel pattern extracted from the recent pickup image is determined as a new registration image candidate.
  • 5. A biometric information processing device, comprising: a placement surface on which a part of a living body whose image is to be picked up is placed;a light source for irradiating the living body with light;a image pickup unit for picking up light that has been transmitted through the living body to obtain registration image candidates; anda processing unit for extracting blood vessel patterns from the picked up registration image candidates, and registering the extracted blood vessel patterns as registration patterns, wherein the processing unit detects whether or not the living body is lifted from the placement surface after the registration image candidates are obtained, and determines registration patterns from the registration image candidates picked up by the image pickup unit after the part of the living body is placed on the placement surface again.
  • 6. The biometric information processing device according to claim 5, wherein the processing unit further calculates a position difference value between the blood vessel patterns extracted from the registration image candidates, and selects the blood vessel patterns where the blood vessel pattern position difference is largest as the registration patterns.
  • 7. The biometric information processing device according claim 1, wherein the part of the living body is a finger.
  • 8. The biometric information processing device according to claim 7, wherein the position difference value is a position difference value in the longitudinal direction of the finger.
