Claims
- 1. A biosensor which electrochemically detects a material which relates to a reaction of a specific compound in a liquid sample with a biologically active substance, wherein the biologically active material is placed at a part which is remote from a position of an electrode which-acts as electrochemical detector means.
- 2. The biosensor according to claim 1, which comprises a mediator which is placed at a part which is remote from said position of said electrode together with said biologically active substance.
- 3. The biosensor according to claim 1, which comprises a mediator which is provided on said electrode.
- 4. The biosensor according to claim 1, wherein said biologically active substance is bound with a hydrophilic polymer.
- 5. The biosensor according to claim 3, wherein said mediator is covered with a layer of a hydrophilic polymer.
- 6. The biosensor according to claim 1, wherein said biologically active substance is an enzyme.
- 7. The biosensor according to claim 6, wherein said enzyme is an oxidoreductase.
