The broken lines are for the purposes of showing environmental structure in the form of the sample-collection element and the cable, and the broken lines form no part of the claimed design.

The biosensor may be used to detect biomolecules. For example, the biosensor may be used to detect COVID-19 neutralizing antibodies. A sample may be placed on the sample-collection element, and the details of the sample are sent to the biosensor via the cable, so that the sample may be analyzed further.
