Abstract
invention B.L strips are intended to be in the lip care industry. It is intended to treat the lips of smokers and people who use lip balms as medication. I think B.L strips will make lip balms more effective by concentrating the medication through the process of inundation, (until the product absorbs), B.L strips can't be licked off unintentionally, and has a better chance of treating chapped, split, or blistered lips then the current products on the market by themselves. B.L strips came about when I noticed my lips were looking black and ugly from smoking, so I decided to look for something to treat them and found nothing to help me so I tried lip medications and found they were geared towards making the lips look colorful, or treating dryness (with lip balms) After trying the lip balms, and finding out, not only did they not stay on my lips, they didn't taste good either, so I started thinking, and one day not long after (horsing around with plastic ct work) I came up with idea of Blunt lip (AKA) B.L strips
Description
BACKGROUND OF B.L STRIPS

Blunt lip is a polyethylene plastic that has two functions, (1) it is intended to nurture the application process of conventional lip balms by allowing the lip balm protection from the tongue. Blunt lip can't be licked off (like most lip balm products leaving them ineffective) Blunt lip will stay in place despite the tongue, and works in all types of weather. My product may sound ridiculous (no one wants to put plastic on their lips?) but polyethylene is the number one plastic in the world for a reason (and the uses for this plastic have only just begun (2) The second use for blunt lip as a product is also a protection role, B.L strips are used to protect the lips of smokers who are at their wits end on how to control the tars and nicotine from smoking that stain their lips. Blunt lip will act as a barrier between the lips and whatever the uses is smoking, B.L strips have two application processes (A) is a peel off strips of polyethylene plastic that is the size and length of the average human lips, and is for the smoker who wants protection for their lips while smoking (B) is applied by way of lip balm density, or the thickness of petroleum jelly (the thickness of the medication will allow the B.L strip to automatically stay in place.

DIRECTIONS (FOR B.L STRIPS)

1) take a 4/4 inch of industrial strength polyethylene shrink wrap plastic and stretch it over a pot boiling hot water until the plastic is about to break.

2) remove it from the heat but continue to stretch until you stress the plastic's brink, and it begin to give in from the stress fractures (It is these stress fractures that allow B.L strips to adapt to the lip area.)

3) Take scissors and cut only the very stressed areas of the plastic because these are the areas that will adhere to, and act like the natural skin on lips, and need very little prompting to stay in place.

SPECIFICATIONS

Blunt lip is a polyethylene plastic that has two separate uses, and two different ways to apply (1) It has a peel off backing that allows it to stick in place if used by smokers who want to protect their lips from smoking (2 it will automatically stay in place if whatever medication used has at least the “thickness” of petroleum jelly (example: lip balms) Blunt lip is polyethylene plastic with the density of very thin shrink wrap (which allows it to be cohesive with very little effort. The plastic for B.L strips can be obtained on the open market and needs only heat to be altered. (polyethylene plastic is the world's most used plastic).

APPLICATION DATA

Blunt lip is polyethylene plastic used to cover the lips (both top and bottom” with the purpose of keeping medications on the lips” and preventing the tongue from licking it off. (B.L Strips) are 1¾ inches in width, and 3 inches long or the length of an average pair of human lips, with a thickness of shrink wrap plastic, which is also polyethylene plastic. “B.L strips” have two uses (1) to keep medication for the lips in place, and (2) it helps prevent tar stained lips from smoking (on people of color) by keeping cigarettes, and marijuana from touching the lips (while they're smoking)

Claims
  • 1. There is no product on the market that I am aware that uses plastic on the entire lip surface, (from corner to corner) for the purpose of protecting the lips from smoking or to apply lip balms or other medications, but there are two product that are worth mentioning (neither of which use plastic) Product #1 is called ““SUPER LIP CARE INVISIBLE BANDAGE,” and is hydrocolloid based, and measures (0.47 inches) This product is made for a small portion of the lips (specifically cold sores, blisters), and is intended to be invisible. This product is not made of plastic” (B.L strips are intended to cover your entire lip area, and is not intended to be invisible (B.L strips and “SUPER LIP CARE INVISIBLE “BANDAGE” are two different products. Product (#2) is a product called “WOW” and it does cover the entire lip area, but for a very different reason. “Wow” is an (ANHYDROUS) based product, and is geared towards making the lips colorful. They call this product lip tattooing, and is applied like lipstick. This product must sit on the lips twenty min. or until it dries, before it can be removed (B.L strips are plastic strips) and maybe applied like stickers whereas “wow” is applied like lip stick. (B.L strips are not meant to color the lip or tattoo them with color) B.L strips do not take twenty minutes to dry for them to be effective.) BL strips are not (anhydrous) based, and is not made with intention of being a tattoo, or a lip stick based product) The product “WOW” is not intended to treat lips for any problems/whereas B.L strips are geared towered treating
