2. Description of the Prior Art

With the progress of science and technology, human's food culture has been gradually changing. For example, the traditional barbecue restaurants uses artificial barbecue. In comparison, modern barbecue restaurants are using mechanical barbecue, which not only has the advantages of time precision but also confirms the quality for standardization. With the changes in the food culture, the restaurant's service content has been technological. The ordering service in the restaurants has evolved from the traditional way that waiters writie with pens and papers into the way that the waiters carry the mobile device for ordering. This approach not only increases the efficiency of ordering but also achieves the paperless advantage for being environmental friendly.

Today, there is still a problem on how to call a service staff. The current practice of calling the service staff is by way of ringing a service bell or waving hands directly. However, it is not easy for the service staff to notice the customer's call in a crowded or noisy restaurant environment. Furthermore, it is rude to casually wave in a quiet dining environment. On the other hand, the service staff has to walk repeatedly between the kitchen and the customers in order to convey the service content, which will result in the waste of human resource.

In recent years, some restaurants use an automatic ordering system. In one case, the customers use the smart tablet on the dining table for ordering. After finishing the order, the customers can pick up their own meals at the restaurant counter. This process is beneficial for saving the human resources, but the customers will lose the chance of face-to-face contact with waiters, for which the high-quality customer service in today's customer-oriented catering business is quite valued.

For the other embodiment, the wireless base station 20 sends the service message S2 to a service personnel (e.g., waiter 200) closest to the Bluetooth pager 10 by calculating the wireless signal strength (RSSI). When the smart hand ring 30′ receives the service message S2 sent by the wireless base station 20, a flashing signal, a vibration signal or an audio signal is generated to remind the waiter 200 to read the service message S2. The service message S2 is shown on the display screen 34, wherein the service message S2 comprises the location information and the service information. In practice, the smart hand ring 30′ includes idle and busy functions that can be selected by the service personnel (e.g., waiter 200) or automatically switched by the smart hand ring 30′. For example, when the smart hand ring 30′ worn by the waiter 200 receives the service message S2 as a meal service, the smart hand ring 30′ will automatically switch to the busy mode within the next five minutes, thus during this period, the smart hand ring 30′ will not receive other service message S2.

In practice, the button information of the service request message S1 is selected from the group consisting of a fixed code, a message code, a text, a graphic, and combinations thereof. The service information of the service message S2 is selected from the group consisting of a fixed code, a message code, a text, a graphic, and combinations thereof. The location information of the service message S2 is selected from the group consisting of a table number, a seat number, a region code, and combinations thereof.

Please refer to FIG. 3. In one embodiment, the button information is a fixed code, the service information is a text, and the location information is a table number. In this embodiment, the trigger buttons 12(a), 12(b), and 12(c) of FIG. 3 respectively represent a meal ordering service, a water filling service and a checkout service. When the customer 100 presses the trigger button 12(a), the Bluetooth pager 10 sends a service request message S1, wherein the service request message S1 comprises the device identification code “001” of the Bluetooth pager 10 and a button information “button a” of the trigger button 12(a), wherein the button information “button a” is a fixed code. After receiving the service request message S1, the wireless base station 20 obtains the service content of “button a” according to the service table as “meal ordering service”, and the device identification code “001” corresponds to the table number of the location table as “table number 1”. Therefore, the wireless base station 20 sends the service message S2 comprising the location information “table number 1” and the service information “meal ordering service” to the smart hand ring 30′, wherein the service message S2 is shown on the display screen 34.

In practice, the button information of the trigger buttons 12 can be changed through cloud console 40. Please refer to FIG. 3. In another embodiment, the button information is a text, the service information is a picture, and the location information is a region code. In this embodiment, the trigger buttons 12(a), 12(b), and 12(c) of FIG. 3 respectively represent a meal ordering service, a water filling service and a checkout service. When the customer 100 presses the trigger button 12(c), the Bluetooth pager 10 sends a service request message S1, wherein the service request message S1 comprises the device identification code “001” of the Bluetooth pager 10 and a button information “button c” of the trigger button 12(c), wherein the button information is a fixed code showing “checkout service”. After receiving the service request message S1, the wireless base station 20 obtains the service content of “checkout service” according to the service table as the picture “checkout counter”, and the device identification code “001” corresponds to the region code of the location table as “region A”.
