Abstract
A cleaning device includes a box having a hole for a board wiper inserted in the box and a plurality of plates are connected between two opposite inner walls of the box. An opening is defined through the box and communicates with an interior of the box. A collection drawer is slidably received in the box via the opening. The board wiper is hit on the plates and chalk powder drop in the collection drawer. Two brushes are connected to one of the inner sides of the box for further cleaning the wipers.
Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a cleaning device for board wipers and includes a plurality of plates connected between two opposite walls of a box and a collection drawer is located below the plates to collect the chalk powder.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] A conventional board wiper cleaning device 70 for removing chalk powder from the wipers is shown in FIG. 6 and generally includes a box 71 having an open top which is closed by a cover 74, and a bristle device 73 received in the box 71. A crank 72 is accessed from outside of the box 71 and connected to a shaft 75 on which the bristle device 73 is connected. When rotating the crank 72, the shaft 75 and the bristle device 73 are rotated and the user inserts the board wiper 60 in the box 71 to let the bristle device 73 wipe the chalk powder from the wiper 60. Because the cover 74 has to be lifted to let the wiper 60 inserted in the box 71 so that the chalk powder removed from the wiper 60 could fly out from the top opening of the box 71. Besides, the user holds the wiper 60 by one hand and the other hand rotates the crank 72, this operation process makes the user's head close to the top opening of the box 71. It is harm to our health if we absorb too many chalk powder particles.

[0003] The present invention intends to provide a board wiper cleaning device which effectively removes chalk powder from the wipers and the cleaning device has a closed top.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cleaning device and comprises a box having a hole defined through a side thereof and a plurality of plates are connected between two opposite inner walls of the box. An opening is defined through the box for a collection drawer being slidably received in the box.

[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a board wiper cleaning device that has an enclosed box and plates connected therein so that the wipers are hit on the plates to effectively remove the chalk powder.

[0006] These and further objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, several embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the board wiper cleaning device of the present invention comprises a box 10 having a hole 12 defined through a side thereof and two boards 11 are respectively connected to two opposite inner walls of the box 10. The box 10 has a closed top by a top board 50. A plurality of plates 31 are connected between the two boards 11. Each board 11 has a plurality of notches 111 defined in a top edge thereof so that two ends of each of the plates 31 are engaged with two respective notches 111 in the two boards 11. The notches 111 are sized wider than a thickness of the plates 31 so that when a board wiper 60 is inserted into the box 10 via the hole 12, it is hit on the top edges of the plates 31 as shown in FIG. 4 to drop the chalk powder on the wiper 60. The plates 31 may shake and jump up and down because the notches 111 is wider than the thickness of the plates 31 so that chalk powder on the plates 31 easily drops too.

[0014] An opening 13 is defined through the box 10 and communicates with an interior of the box 10 so that a collection drawer 20 is slidably received in the box 10 via the opening 13. The chalk powder drop from the wiper 60 is collected in the collection drawer 20. The collection drawer 20 has a handle 21 for convenience of being pulled out from the box 10. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, two brushes 41 are connected to one of the two inner walls as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5. The brushes 41 are used to further clean the wipers 60 by scrubbing the wipers 60 on the bristles 411 of the brushes 41.

[0015] There is only one hole 12 in the box 10 so that the chalk powder will not fly out of the box 10. The plates 31 have a thin top edge so that when hitting the wipers 60, the chalk powder is easily shank down from the wipers 60.

[0016] While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
