The disclosure and prior art relates to garments and more particularly pertains to a new garment for use after water exposure.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a shell that is substantially complementary to a body of a user. A slit is positioned in a front of the shell and is configured to insert the body of the user into the shell. The slit extends from proximate to a waistline to a neckline of the shell. An aperture that is positioned in the shell extends from the front to a back of the shell between legs of the shell. The aperture is configured to allow urination and defecation by the user. A panel that is complementary to the aperture is selectively couplable to the shell to close the aperture. A hood is coupled to and extends from the neckline. The hood is configured to position over the head of the user such that a face of the user is substantially exposed.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
Each of a pair of grips 22 is coupled to a bottom surface 24 of a respective pocket 20. The grips 22 are configured to deter slippage of the feet of the user.
A slit 26 is positioned in a front 28 of the shell 12. The slit 26 extends from proximate to a waistline 30 to a neckline 32 of the shell 12. The slit 26 is configured to allow insertion of the body of the user into the interior space 14. Each of a pair of flaps 34 is coupled to and extends from a respective opposing edge 36 of the slit 26. The flaps 34 are configured to overlap to close the slit 26.
An aperture 38 is positioned in the shell 12. The aperture 38 extends from the front 28 to a back 40 of the shell 12 between legs 42 of the shell 12. The aperture 38 is substantially hourglass shaped. The aperture 38 is configured to allow urination and defecation by the user. A panel 44 that is complementary to the aperture 38 is selectively couplable to the shell 12 to close the aperture 38.
A first coupler 46 is coupled to the shell 12 proximate to the aperture 38. A second coupler 48 is coupled to a perimeter 50 of the panel 44. The second coupler 48 is complementary to the first coupler 46. The second coupler 48 is positioned to selectively couple to the first coupler 46 to couple the panel 44 to the shell 12 to close the aperture 38. In one embodiment, the first coupler 46 and the second coupler 48 comprises a zipper 52.
A hood 54 is coupled to and extends from the neckline 32. The hood 54 is configured to position over the head of the user so that a face of the user is substantially exposed. In one embodiment, the hood 54 is volumetrically larger than the head of the user so that the hood 54 is configured to position hair of the user.
Each of a pair of straps 56 is coupled to and extends from a circumference 58 of the hood 54. The straps 56 are substantially opposingly positioned on the circumference 58. The straps 56 are configured to be knotted to position the straps 56 along a hairline of the user to prevent water from dripping in eyes of the user.
A plurality of loops 60 is coupled to the shell 12 proximate to the waistline 30. The loops 60 are substantially evenly spaced along the waistline 30. A belt 62 is positioned through the loops 60. The belt 62 is configured to be tightened and knotted to secure the shell 12 to a waist of the user.
In use, the slit 26 is configured to allow insertion of the body of the user into the interior space 14. The flaps 34 are configured to overlap to close the slit 26. The grips 22 are configured to deter slippage of the feet of the user. The aperture 38 is configured to allow urination and defecation by the user. The second coupler 48 is positioned to selectively couple to the first coupler 46 to couple the panel 44 to the shell 12 to close the aperture 38. The hood 54 is configured to position over the head of the user. The face of the user is substantially exposed. The straps 56 that are positioned on the hood 54 are configured to be knotted to position the straps 56 along the hairline of the user to prevent the water from dripping in the eyes of the user. The belt 62 that is positioned though the loops 60 is configured to be tightened and knotted to secure the shell 12 to the waist of the user.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
