Claims
- 1. A bone assessment apparatus comprising:
- a measuring unit comprising a platform for supporting a foot;
- a measuring means for measuring the length of the planta of said foot from the rear edge of the heel to the tips of the toes to determine the size of the foot supported on said platform; and
- a measurement controller for determining measuring conditions for assessing bone based on said foot size.
- 2. A bone assessment apparatus comprising:
- a measuring unit comprising a platform for supporting a foot;
- a measuring means for measuring the height of the instep of said foot; and
- a measurement controller for determining measuring conditions for assessing bone based on said foot size.
- 3. A bone assessment apparatus comprising:
- a measuring unit comprising a platform for supporting a foot;
- a first measuring means for measuring the length of the planta of said foot from the rear edge of the heel to the tips of the toes;
- a second measuring means for measuring the height of the instep of said foot; and
- a measurement controller for determining measuring conditions for assessing bone based on said foot size, said measurement controller determining a measuring position based on said planta length and said instep height.
