Abstract
A boot insole includes a sole base and multiple absorbing studs. The sole base is a flat pad that matches a foot contour and has multiple air vents. The absorbing studs are integrally and downwardly formed on a bottom surface of the sole base. The boot insole provides a shock absorbing effect without adding an air cushion to decrease the pressure on the foot, and also increases the ventilation between the foot sole and the orthopedic boot.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a boot sole, especially to a boot insole.

2. Description of Related Art

A conventional orthopedic boot is used in a rehabilitating process and comprises a foot support and a leg support connected with the foot support. The foot support usually has a shoe unit, an air cushion, an insole and multiple fastening belts. The shoe unit has a supporting frame and an outsole mounted on a bottom of the supporting frame. The air cushion is mounted in a heel recess of the supporting frame formed in a top of the supporting frame. The insole is flat, is mounted on the top of the supporting frame, and covers the air cushion. The fastening belts are connected with two side edges of the supporting frame for fixing the supporting frame on a foot of a user.

The insole is a flat pad that can keep the foot tread on comfortably but is not ventilative. The air cushion provides a shock absorbing effect to decrease the pressure on the foot, especially in heel position. Thus, the insole of the conventional orthopedic boot does not have any shock absorbing effect to support the foot, and the air cushion can only provide a narrow area to decrease the pressure on the foot.

To overcome the shortcomings of the conventional boot insole, the present invention provides a boot insole with shock absorbing and ventilative effect to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main objective of the present invention is to provide a boot insole.

The boot insole includes a sole base and multiple absorbing studs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 5, a first preferred embodiment of a boot insole 10 includes a sole base 11, multiple absorbing studs 12A, 12B, two heel protecting portions 13, and a heel side wall 14.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the sole base 11 is a flat pad that matches a foot contour and has multiple air vents 110 formed through and disposed in the sole base 11. The sole base 11 defines a front position 111 and a rear position 112 and has a bottom surface.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the absorbing studs 12A, 12B are integrally and downwardly formed on the bottom surface of the sole base 11 and are divided into two groups respectively disposed on the front position 111 and the rear position 112. Each absorbing stud 12A, 12B is an elastic, compressible, and hollow cylinder. The diameter of the group of the absorbing studs 12A on the rear position 112 is larger than the diameter of the group of the absorbing studs 12B on the front position 111. Preferably, the absorbing studs 12A, 12B are arranged in multiple rows at spaced intervals.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the two heel protecting portions 13 are respectively and upwardly formed on two opposite sides at the rear position 112 of the sole base 11. The heel side wall 14 is formed on the sole base 11 and connected with the two heel protecting portions 13.

With reference to FIG. 3, the boot insole 10 is combined with a supporting frame 20 as a foot support to connect with a leg support 30. The supporting frame 20 is a hard sole and has multiple engaging recesses 21. The sole base 11 is mounted on the supporting frame 20, and the absorbing studs 12A, 12B are mounted respectively in the engaging recesses 21 of the supporting frame 20.

With reference to FIGS. 4 to 5, a gap is formed between the boot insole 10 and the supporting frame 20 because the length of each absorbing stud 12A, 12B is larger than the depth of the corresponding engaging recess 21. When the boot insole 10 is trodden by a foot, the absorbing studs 12A, 12B are compressed by the weight to generate a shock absorbing effect. As the absorbing studs 12A, 12B are separately and evenly disposed on the sole base 11, the pressure generated on the foot sole can be absorbed by the boot insole 10 in a major foot-contact area. Additionally, the sole base 11 has the air vents 110 to increase the ventilation between the foot sole and the boot insole 10.

Therefore, the boot insole 10 provides a shock absorbing effect without adding an air cushion to decrease the pressure on the foot, especially the whole foot sole. The boot insole 10 can be used in any kind of shoes such as sport shoes, walking shoes, business shoes or the orthopedic boot. The boot insole 10 also increases the ventilation between the foot sole and the orthopedic boot. The boot insole 10 can be mounted on the supporting frame 20 by the absorbing stud 12A, 12B without using glue. Therefore, the boot insole 10 is detachable and replaceable for washing or exchanging to maintain hygienic and clean in the shoe.

With reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, a second preferred embodiment of the boot insole 10A in accordance with the present invention is disclosed; the difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is the shapes of the absorbing studs 12C.

The absorbing studs 12C of the boot insole 10A are quadrilateral in cross section. Preferably, each absorbing stud 12C is trapezoid and has a top edge and a bottom surface. The dimensions of the absorbing studs 12C gradually reduce downwardly from the top edge to the bottom surface. The absorbing studs 12C are disposed in a staggered arrangement.

With reference to FIG. 7, the boot insole 10A is combined with a supporting frame 20 similar to the boot insole 10 of the first embodiment. The boot insole 10A also provides a shock absorbing effect and good ventilation.

With reference to FIG. 8, a third preferred embodiment of the boot insole 10B in accordance with the present invention is disclosed. The difference between the third embodiment and the first, second embodiments is the shapes of the absorbing studs 12D.

The absorbing studs 12D of the boot insole 10C are hollow cylinders. Each absorbing stud 12D has multiple annular recesses 120 formed around the outer surface of the absorbing stud 12D at spaced intervals along the longitudinal direction of the absorbing stud 12D. Thus, the shapes of the absorbing studs 12D are similar to a spring to provide a better shock absorbing effect than the absorbing studs 12 of the boot insole 10 in the first embodiment.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
