Claims
- 1. The polymer ##STR3## where R is methyl, ethyl propyl, or butyl of the general formula C.sub.n H.sub.2n+1 and where x is a positive integer.
- 2. The pentamer ##STR4##
- 3. The process of preparing the polymer of claim 1 which comprises the steps of (1) reacting chloroborazine with a disilazane in a suitable solvent at temperatures -78.degree. to 0.degree. C., (2) slow warm up to room temperature, (3) separation of the precipitated by-product by filtration, (4) isolation of the polymer by solvent removal.
- 4. A process in accordance with claim 3 wherein chloroborazine and hexamethyldisilazane are reacted in a benzene/hexane mixture as a solvent for a period from about 3 to 24 hr at -50.degree. to -30.degree. C.
