1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a bottle cap and, more particularly, to a bottle cap, in which an outer protective cap, integrally covering a cap containing an additive therein and the upper surface of a bottle, is rotated to move a push cap downwards, thus adding the additive to contents in the bottle, and simultaneously an inner upper cap moves upwards, so that a vibration plate rubs against the inner surface of the outer protective cap, thus indicating the time at which the additive starts to be added to the contents, and in which a toy is coupled to the outer protective cap as desired, thus affording various pleasure to a user.
2. Description of the Related Art
There has been proposed a bottle cap, which serves as a holding member for holding an additive therein and is constructed so that a bottom of the cap is torn off by a protruding breaking part when the cap moves downwards, thus causing the additive to be added to contents in a bottle. However, such a bottle cap simply adds the additive to the contents in the bottle. The conventional bottle cap is problematic in that a user does not precisely know the time at which the additive in the holding member starts to be added to the contents in the bottle.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problem occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bottle cap, which is constructed so that an inner upper cap is turned together when an outer protective cap is turned, and a thin-plate-type stopper, forming the bottom of a push cap, is broken by the turning force, thus allowing an additive in the cap to be easily added to the contents of a bottle.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a bottle cap that functions as a plaything when an additional toy is coupled to an outer protective cap.
In order to accomplish the above objects, the present invention provides a bottle cap, having an inner lower cap coupled to a bottle and having on a lower end thereof a protruding breaking part, an inner upper cap coupled to an upper portion of the inner lower cap and moving a push cap downwards through a screw-type fastening method when the inner upper cap is rotated, the push cap serving as an additive holding member and having on a bottom thereof a thin-plate-type stopper, an outer protective cap having a support tube therein so that the inner upper cap is fitted into the support tube in such a way as to rotate along with the outer protective cap, the outer protective cap covering an upper end of the inner upper cap and a surface of the bottle, and a frictional vibration plate rubbing against a frictional plate of the outer protective cap to produce sound of friction, thus indicating a time at which an additive starts to drop into the bottle, because the thin-plate-type stopper is broken, when the inner upper cap moves the push cap down, so that the push and turn screw is disengaged from the hook screw and the inner upper cap moves up.
Therefore, the present invention provides a bottle cap, in which an outer protective cap is turned so that an inner upper cap is rotated along with the outer protective cap, thus adding an additive to the contents in a bottle, and which makes a sound when rotation has been completed, so that a user can be made aware of the time at which the addition starts using a sound, thus providing convenience to a user.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Reference now should be made to the drawings, in which the same reference numerals are used throughout the different drawings to designate the same or similar components.
As shown in the drawings, the bottle cap of the present invention includes an inner lower cap 120, an inner upper cap 130, a push cap 140, an outer protective cap 150, and a frictional vibration plate 139.
The inner lower cap 120 is fastened to an inlet of a bottle 12 using hooks 14 and 127 and a fastening groove 15. Protruding breaking parts 124-3 are provided on the lower end of the inner lower cap 120.
The inner upper cap 130 is coupled to the upper portion of the inner lower cap 120. When the inner upper cap 130 rotates in the direction in which a hook screw 136-1 is disengaged from a push and turn screw 125-1, a tamper resistant band 136-2 of the inner upper cap 130 is tom off, and the push cap 140, positioned in the inner upper cap 130, is moved downwards through a screw-type fastening method.
The push cap 140 serves as an additive holding member, and has on a bottom thereof a thin-plate-type stopper 129.
The outer protective cap 150 covers the upper end of the inner upper cap 130 and a surface of the bottle 12, and has a support tube 152 therein. The inner upper cap 130 is fitted into the support tube 152 in such a way as to rotate along with the outer protective cap 150.
The frictional vibration plate 139 rubs against a frictional plate 153 of the outer protective cap 150 to produce the sound of friction, thus indicating the time at which an additive starts to be added to the contents in the bottle 12, because the thin-plate-type stopper 129 is broken when the inner upper cap 130 moves the push cap 140 down, so that the push and turn screw 125-1 is disengaged from the hook screw 136-1 and the inner upper cap 130 moves up.
A coaxial tube 144, which serves as a straw, is axially placed on the center of the push cap 140, and an upper straw cover 137 is provided on the upper end of the coaxial tube 144, such that the contents in the bottle 12 are discharged through the center of the upper end of the inner upper cap 130 via a straw.
A hole 155 is formed in an upper portion of the outer protective cap 150, and passes the sound of friction to the exterior. The frictional sound is made by the vibration plate 139 when the push cap 140 moves down and the inner upper cap 130 moves up.
A bottle cap according to the second embodiment of the present invention is shown in
According to the third embodiment of the invention, as shown in
The inner lower cap 20 is coupled to a bottle 12, and has on a lower end thereof a protruding breaking part 24-3.
The inner upper cap 30 is coupled to the upper portion of the inner lower cap 20, and moves the push cap 40 downwards through a screw-type fastening method when the inner upper cap 30 is rotated.
The push cap 40 serves as an additive holding member, and has on a bottom thereof a thin-plate-type stopper 29.
The outer protective cap 150 covers the inner upper cap 30 and a surface of the bottle 12 such that the inner upper cap 30, positioned in the outer protective cap 150, rotates together with the outer protective cap 150.
The frictional vibration plate 139 rubs against a frictional plate 153 of the outer protective cap 150 to produce the sound of friction, thus indicating the time at which the additive starts to be added to the contents in the bottle 12, because the thin-plate-type stopper 29 is broken when the inner upper cap 30 moves the push cap 40 down, so that a push and turn screw 25-2 is disengaged from a hook screw 36-1 and the inner upper cap 30 moves up by the engagement of the inner upper cap 30 with the push cap 40 through a screw-type fastening method.
The bottle cap further includes a decorative toy 160, which is integrally fitted over the upper portion of the outer protective cap 150 via a fitting means.
The fitting means includes a fitting projection 162 which protrudes from the toy 160 and has on an end thereof a hook, and a toy fitting hole 159 which is provided at a predetermined position in the outer protective cap 150, so that the fitting projection 162 is fitted into the fitting hole 159, thus providing force for supporting the toy 160.
The fitting means further includes a support hook 161, which is bent inwards from the lower end of the toy 160, and a toy support groove which is provided at a predetermined position in the outer protective cap 150, so that the support hook 161 is inserted into the toy support groove.
Further, a support step 151 is provided on the inner surface of the lower end of a support tube 152, and is seated between a lower end step 20-4, forming the lower end of an outer wall 20-1 of the inner lower cap 20, and a tamper resistant band 20-2, thus supporting the inner lower cap 20.
As described above, the present invention provides a bottle cap, which is constructed so that an inner upper cap is turned together when an outer protective cap is turned, and a thin-plate-type stopper, forming the bottom of a push cap, is broken by the turning force, thus allowing an additive in the cap to be easily added to the contents of a bottle.
Further, the present invention provides a bottle cap that functions as a plaything when an additional toy is coupled to an outer protective cap.
Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
