Claims
- 1. A merchandising device for bottles each having an integrally formed annular neck flange, comprising an elongate track for supporting a row of said bottles such that said bottles in said row are suspended by said neck flanges thereof for movement along said track and are removable from said track through a front end of said track, said track comprising:
- a pair of side walls interconnected by a top wall to form a channel structure; and
- a C-shaped reinforcing flange provided at said front end to increase rigidity of said front end,
- wherein said reinforcing flange extends continuously along front edges of said side and top walls.
- 2. The merchandising device according to claim 1, further comprising support means for supporting said track such that said track is inclined downwardly toward said front end whereby said bottles when supported by said track are allowed to gravity feed one after another to said front end as leading bottles in said row successively are removed from said track.
- 3. A merchandising device comprising:
- bottles arranged in a row, each of said bottles having an integrally formed annular neck flange; and
- an elongate track for supporting said row of said bottles such that said bottles are suspended by said neck flanges for movement along said track and are removable from said track through a front end of said track,
- said track comprising a pair of side walls joined together along upper edges thereof by a top wall to form an elongate channel structure, and a C-shaped reinforcing flange provided at said front end to increase rigidity of said front end,
- wherein said each bottle has a cap disposed at a gap above a respective one of said neck flanges, and said track further comprises a pair of substantially parallel rails joined and extending respectively along lower edges of said side walls so as to project toward each other, and rail-thickening means for providing a part of each of said rails adjacent to said front end with an increased vertical size greater than the size of said gap, said rail-thickening means comprising opposite ends of said C-shaped reinforcing flange.
- 4. The merchandising device according to claim 3, further comprising support means for supporting said track such that said track is inclined downwardly toward said front end whereby said bottles are allowed to gravity feed toward said front end along said track.
